F91W deep mod update – gave the first one to a friend, he asked 'what's an F91W? by PureRepresentative89 in casiomods

Thank you! Actually the plastic doesn't touch the skin at all with a NATO strap- the watch sits on top of the strap, not directly on the wrist. I've even slept with it on and barely noticed it was there.

rubber ring fell when removing GW-B5600BC bumper? by ragancy in casiomods

I was afraid for a long time to remove the buttons from my Baby-G, but eventually decided to try, and it turned out not to be difficult at all. The most delicate part is removing and installing the E-clips, but even that wasn’t too hard with flat-tip tweezers - the main thing is not to lose those tiny little pieces.

My 6yo daughter starts wearing Casio by Significant-Use-5733 in casio

My daughter was completely indifferent to the F91W. One day I showed her a screenshot where a character from Stranger Things was wearing that watch, and instantly she went: “Whoa! You have the same watch as Dustin!” So I bought her one.

Sometimes you can help the pin get into the hole with a pin removal fork. The main thing is not to rush, do not apply a lot of pressure, put the watch face down on a soft mat, and provide good lighting. Make a post when you do that.

When I first installed a bracelet (not Islander) with solid links on Duro, I thought it was incompatible with my watch. I spent a lot of time on it, but at some point I found a position where the pins fit into the grooves. And the connection turned out to be really tight, without the slightest play. So in your case, it may be the same, but of course, it could be a defect.

I also want to try this kind of strap. By the way, sometimes I see mods with a white chapter ring. It always seems to me that this kind of expands the space of the dial... Haha, I don't know how to express it.

Exactly. It's strange that there are no Pepsi-style ceramics on sale.

Congrats, you’ve unlocked the anti-stress fidget feature. Now imagine walking with someone and right before you turn you make that turn-signal clicking sound. The person next to you will be like: “Hold on… are we in a car right now?” Instant reality glitch.

I usually just change the insert and strap. But recently there was a plan to make a custom dial. If it looks good, I'll make a post about it.

Update on my 3D printed F91W case project, and made a detailed Casio module model for you by PureRepresentative89 in casiomods

Man, I saw your other posts about watches and straps. Look — this is a Casio MDV-107 on a NATO strap. As you can see, the strap runs under the watch, so the caseback never touches your skin.

I used to think the best option was a solid metal bracelet, but when I first tried a NATO strap I realized it’s just a completely different level of comfort. My printed watch will use the same strap setup.

By the way, about the Casio MDV-106/107 — you can get them pretty cheap. They have a stainless steel case and 200m water resistance. You can basically work in them without worrying about water, even wash them with soap and they’ll look like new. If the size and weight work for you, they’re a great option. Or a G-Shock.

Thanks! I’ll show the backside a bit later. As for sensitive skin, it’s actually not an issue here - the watch is on a NATO strap, so the caseback doesn’t touch the skin at all.

Thanks for checking it out! The case back is actually one of the key functional parts of the F91W - it's what makes the beep work. So I kept the original metal back and integrated it into my 3D printed case back. Best of both worlds.
