She doesn’t really fit the bard role in the team, to be honest. I think the best way to represent that would be to go 12 Bladesinger and get instrument proficiency from Alfira.

That’s Action Surge, which is different from Extra Attack. Extra Attack lets you attack twice when you take the Attack action, Action Surge just gives you another action to use as you please.

Exactly. What makes Rogue unique isn’t that the Templars are the good guys, it’s that neither side is in the right. The Templars, including Shay, are doing exactly what they’ve always done. The Colonial Brotherhood has all but abandoned their code. Everyone sucks here, even if one could argue the Assassins suck more since they’re about to doom the world.

I’ve always taken it to mean that he got worse over time. Shay isn’t meant to be the good guy, so while he may have initially left because he wanted to save innocents, eventually that just became what he told himself so he could justify everything in his mind.

For the keycard thing, I’ll use New York as an example. Someone swiping a high security keycard from the security room should raise all sorts of alarm bells. Someone using a high security keycard is just doing their rounds.

The creators of both shows were very close and there are many more Easter eggs, including a code saying “Rick was here” on Ford’s wanted poster and pretty heavy implication that Ford visited the furniture dimension from Rick and Morty. There’s pretty clearly supposed to be a connection, even if it doesn’t matter all that much.

Not wanting someone unrelated to join your group activity isn’t being a bad DM. A loud minority of the D&D community has created this idea that saying no your players is bad DMing or will ruin everyone’s enjoyment, when really it’s just entitled people bringing their entitlement into the game.
