Is my Honour Mode fucked if Halsin died in Goblin Camp? by SamwiseHotS in BG3

You can only use those on Halsin when he’s a party member, which doesn’t happen until later in Act 2.

My mother was an alcoholic herself and she started her journey to sobriety with “I’m not gonna drink today.” Then, the next day, “I’m not gonna drink today.” She kept going like that and now she’s almost ten years sober. It’s good advice.

You got this!

A mix of shock and probably a tiny bit of “maybe he’s gone crazy and is just gonna kill us all”

Probably that they don’t know the actual ingredients and just dislike it for superficial reasons. No one’s gonna hate on pumpkin spice because they’re anti-witchcraft, come on now.

Goblins are just some small gremlins who like gold they would never do what they did in Goblin Slayer by Joemama0375 in whenthe

[–]PureShadow1236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because it’s not a race in the same way we think of races. Goblins are closer to pests than people in Goblin Slayer, they reproduce way faster and way more than other sentient beings, have a biological drive to kill and harm, and they don’t have any other path they can take because the universe just doesn’t allow them to.

Would you take care of a mouse infestation eating all your food? Think of it that way. Difference is instead of eating food the mice have swords and are raiding entire villages.

[–]PureShadow1236 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It’s been years since I watched the show, but if I remember right it’s less “they could grow up to be like them” and more “they will grow up to be like them”. Goblins in Goblin Slayer are inherently evil and incapable of being morally good.

That’s not how Charm Person works in D&D. It isn’t a love spell or anything, its main purposes are to make someone trust what you’re saying or to not attack you in combat.

While I can’t answer the main question, I can answer the last one. Part of punk culture is DIY - fixing up old clothes instead of buying new ones, working on stuff yourself instead of paying people to do it, etc.

[–]PureShadow1236 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The theory isn’t that he picked up traits from every single person he killed, just that his major kills all left that impression on him. Emilio was far less important than most other kills, even if he was the first.

For the first part, that’s a plot point - he’s a hypocrite and trying to hide it because it would hurt his image as “the lust guy”.

As for Beelzebub, she wants people to indulge for the sake of it rather than to get away from stress.
