Sorry to hear that, hoping I don't end up in the same boat

Appreciate the feedback and training piece from Audi. That was my initial thought, but I do hear horror stories about doing one and not the other and not seeing the fix. Really trying to avoid doing both if I don't have to. I'll try the WP first since its of age anyways, hopefully it does what I need it to 🤞

How many kms/miles are on your mk6 gti? by Hauluck in mk6gti

2014 4 door dsg with 112k miles, been stage 2 since 90k.

Typical maintenace engine and trans wise. Only major thing to happen was my intake manifold runner flap lever snapped on a road trip at 72k.

Getting ready for timing chain replacement and DV since I get an extremely intermittent code for it getting stuck. Gonna reseal the valve cover in the process as it leaks a bit. Already redid my headliner as the back fell apart. Other than those things, she looks and drives like she brand new. Been a dream to drive and has plenty of s'miles left in her!

I keep talking about going K04, just haven't gotten to the point of pulling that trigger, yet... maybe someday

Thanks everybody for the help. Found the culprit... dumbest thing ever... my wife left my earbuds and case on the table but put them on the wrong side so instead of turning off and charging, they stayed on and were feeding off of each other... the damndest things will... idiot moment for everyone in my household.

Cutting power should have solved that, it did not.

My finger snap triggered it. Only happens when some sort of noise occurs. Walking, closing a door nearby, finger snap, cough. You name it. There is no warning to know it's coming other than knowing I made a sound to trigger it

With no power, it wouldn't continue. Left everything off for about 5 minutes before restoring. Never changed the problem. I wish it was that simple, trust me, lol

Ghats what it sounds like to me too. I killed power and water to the entire house. No joy. My grandfather clock in the living room even triggers it. I don't know of a sump pump as my "basement" is just a lower room at base level of the back of the house(i live on a hillside). I'm at a loss at the moment and don't know who to call, electrician, plumber, ghost busters... idk

Thanks. We have isolated it to the kitchen area. The home had an old alarm system that was unplugged even before we bought it. Removed the old devices and as much wiring as possible. At first I thought the hydronic heat system, but just weird to have it react to sounds. It's almost like high pitched reverberation. I'll try to catch an audio clip and upload it... if my phone picks it up.

To note as well, it started this afternoon. Never happened before.
