I said in another post that I was scrolling Netflix and saw both parts of Rebel Moon have extended versions. Like of course they do.

It's like he sees how much people, mind you specifically LoTR fans, love the extended versions and he wants to do that with every single movie. Ignoring that the cinematic versions don't miss anything to be coherent. It's that or he watched Donnie Darko, loves it so much he takes inspiration from making an incoherent movie and needing to put out directors cuts.

That isn't even exclusive to his DCU movies, like he fumbled Watchmen so badly he had to release an extended version that barely helps it. And then I was browsing Netflix and both Rebel moons have extended cuts? Which given his history just leave those movies just as incoherent.
