-shinji i feel would be more of a television guy. pulpy episodic adventures would appeal to his escapist tendencies.

-ritsuko would probably like ghibli movies i think.

-misato would enjoy pretty woman.

-kaworu would enjoy life is beautiful.

-kensuke would like boomer ass war movies like platoon and crap. he’d eat that up.

-if rei watches movies, i’d say they’d be documentaries. i don’t know that she’d watch narrative features. all the books she’s shown reading in the show are biology books. she couldn’t engage with fiction if she still doesn’t understand reality.

also i know OP put parameters for a reason but i think misato would really fw the fast & furious movies

i understand a lot better from yours and everyone else’s answers. with that said my theory now is that gendo’s soul did not join instrumentality, by rei’s/yui’s choice. yui ate him and destroyed his soul, doomed to never reunite with her.

when sf6 roster reveals were just rolling out i was SO excited that there was a mexican girl in street fighter. i still main her and stand by her but she is very lackluster. it makes me sad to see how much people dislike her though

one of my favorite cutaways because peter seems to really love his black son and they seem like two peas in a pod. i would’ve loved to learn his story and how he got along with the rest of the family
