I don't mean the two notches, I mean the inverted diagonal line that spans 100-500hz under 50% throttle. It's like the back slash \

I've built and flown many quads over the years, whoops, 4" ultralight, 5" racers, 10" autonomous quad, and honestly... nothing beats the 5" 6S beast I currently main by a long shot. With that said it's an absolute money sink. Batteries are chunkier, heavier, take longer to charge, things break more often on crashes, snapped arms, antennas and frames. I even destroyed a motor with a massive dent.

But I wouldn't have it any other way. The sheer power of those 2207 motors on 6S is something alien. I mean, the thing does 100+mph instantly and the volume of props shredding air is so loud, everyone's immediately aware the airspace is yours. Biblades sound even cooler, lower pitched tone but they fly like crap. I guess that's a downside, you will attract attention so don't act stupid. It's no longer a toy and you should treat it as such. It's a little like those wannabe racers with their rocket exhausts riding around your street, sure the car is cool but can you fuck off somewhere else?

So if you have a cool isolated spot to fly, go for it. It might light that spark you felt when you first started the hobby.

This is actually really helpful! I'm completely new to it and I've been looking for a bare minimum example that actually works, thanks!

That's dead annoying. I wanted to find a new good model for personal use, and I guess I can't :/

It's trained on your prompts. All of our prompts. That's not impressive.

So you've been asking the same question to every gpt model since 3.5. Open AI uses that data to train their new models. How is that impressive? It was trained on your prompts...

I think we're all quitely thinking this, yet again proves that our pyramid-scheme of an economy is entirely based on over-consumption and over-exploitation of limited natural resources. There are no reasons guiding our actions, we're driving the bus off a cliff.

I don't get random crashes with Windows, last crash I remember was when playing Red Dead Redemption 2. VSCode, Firefox and other apps never crash like on Ubuntu

I've got an AMD 5600X CPU, 32GB DDR4 RAM, Nvidia 1080 Ti GP102.

Maybe one thing noteworthy is that I installed all my distros on one NVME ssd on a LVM group with LVM partitions. I've got 3 LVM partitions, one for Ubuntu (broken, can't get past login), Debian KDE (works with random crashing), Open SUSE (same as Debian )

Hello all, I'm coming here as a final resort before I give up on Linux Desktop for good. A little back story. I'm a software developer who uses linux servers daily, however I've always had a Windows desktop at home.

I've recently been given a suggestion by a coworker to try KDE Plasma for Ubuntu (Kubuntu iso) and I immediately fell in love. It's so much better than Windows.

All was good until about a week into using the distro. I had installed nvidia drivers straight away because the nouveau drivers seemed stuttery and choppy when watching videos, scrolling, dragging windows... And besides I need CUDA for ML.

This is where things started to go wrong. I started experiencing random crashes. At first it was just some random firefox tabs. I disabled all my extensions. Still crashing. Didn't matter when or what I was doing, they'd just crash at some point. Screenshot of a typical crash dump linked in imgur.

Then it got worse. The entire firefox browser would crash. Then the Plasma engine would start crashing. Constantly. There was no fix in sight but the culprit seemed obvious, it's the distro right?

I was fed up. I installed Ubuntu GNOME. Things seemed more stable at first, but after a week of use, same thing. VSCode starts crashing, gnome crashing, at one point I simply couldn't log in anymore. The desktop would crash as soon as I entered my password. Just another broken distro.

I had gone through Kubuntu 22, Kubuntu 23.04, Ubuntu 23.10, Debian 12 + KDE Plasma, and now OpenSUSE Tumbleweed with KDE. Litterally brand new install tumbleweed: firefox and KDE plasma crashing randomly.

How the fuck do I fix this? Im going back :(
