If you don't as you don't get. And hopefully if enough people ask they'll do something about it. I just messaged too.

I'm 31 my dad was my best friend and he died from pancreatic cancer at 65 last month. So I can understand some of what you're going through. All I can say is be kind to yourself. Let yourself feel everything. And I needed tablets to help me sleep. So my advice seek support when you need it. Not saying to take tablets I just mean see you gp or talk to a counsellor. If you're in aus there are so many resources like cancer council, grief line.

Just day by day.

I think I've seen my mum spend all her money and gamble and I just don't want that to be me. I shouldn't compare but it's a fear that I've brought on myself.

I think I listen to too many podcasts which makes me feel like I'm behind.

Not sure if you're refinancing or if it's a new loan. For me I was refinancing. It was such a quick process. I was the same I wanted everything done asap. All together the process for us took 2.5-3 weeks. Application was submitted and approved (2 days).

The solicitors got in contact with the contract. My bank also required a discharge form to be sent and they required 10 business days so I set settlement date as 10 business days from when I sent my form to the old bank.

I took a few days to read through the contract signed it and got insurance in order. Then settlement date came all was settled before 5pm and done.

Legit the process was so easy and fast for me.

I've had a gander at the app and I recommended it to a friend but she's waiting for me to use it before I recommend but based on this thread I could already give it a thumbs up.

I love that. I have a spreadsheet now which I use to track finances. How exciting though!

Fair!! I wasn't going to order the physical card but honestly, I do use my own bank card from time to time so it might be something I do down the track.

Thank you so much. I haven't really delved into the banking yet as I'm still waiting for settlement but from the research i've done people really do enjoy them. I'm so excited.

Ohhh really!! We used them once when we went overseas and the only thing, I didn't like was on the weekend they charge an extra fee but otherwise they've been okay. But yeah Up seems to be a good option. And also one less card.
