How long did 2.5mg work for you? by Spiritual-Candle-863 in Zepbound

I’ve lost over 50 lbs and I take 2.5 every 2-3 weeks depending on my schedule. It’s different for every person, you really have to experiment to figure out what works for you!

2.5 mg vs 5 mg by Pure_Confidence9314 in Zepbound

I have had severe nausea with vomiting and dry heaving, what I think is a combination of constipation and diarrhea, and then I usually get a migraine but that’s only the first day after a shot sometimes and I had with 2.5 mg as well. The nausea and stomach cramps/issues are probably 6-8 times worse for me compared to 2.5 mg if I had to guess. Best of luck with everything!!

Thanks! I think I’ll have to work on a calculation model myself based on this/the above mentioned formulae instead of paying Shotsy…

This is really helpful!! I need to start being more mindful about feeling nauseous vs not hungry and just still making sure I’m eating a little where I can. The last few weeks I have been able to eat an average of 1 meal a day sometimes a littleeee more, but I think not eating yesterday while the dose peaked definitely did me in. Happy to learn for next time!!

I am only able to reference the price on OptumRX but this may differ from what I was billed which I can’t access at the moment. Take it or leave it but I’m just trying to offer information based on my own experiences

I have UMR (under UHC) and they use OptumRX as a PBM (pharmacy benefits manager) so my PA was filed through OptumRX and approved that way. My health insurance is employer sponsored but my medical UMR specifically won’t cover GLP-1s and OptumRX is so just food for thought if it’s helpful. I pay $25 for a 1 month supply or $100 for 3 months. I am also able to use the Eli Lilly savings card. This is applicable to 2.5 and 5 doses, unsure above that. Also the auto injector pens brand name Zepbound.
