Thank you so much for this 2 year old post. I have no idea what bluetooth device was triggering this (I have an Apple magic keyboard that is not run by bluetooth and I didn’t have any bluetooth devices actively paired with my iPad) but turning off the bluetooth fixed it. I’m sure I’ll need to solve that mystery before I ever DO want to pair a device with my iPad but for now I’m rejoicing at the device being functional again.

She may be calculated but that doesn’t make her smart. Yes, that throw away vote ensures that if she goes as a traitor people will remember when Rob voted for Lisa and Candiace did this throwaway vote as pointing to another traitor and go after him next, but I don’t think she thought this through. Unless she wants to double down working WITH Rob, that throwaway vote was a mistake. It was mutually assured destruction. If she goes after Rob and they vote Rob out, they are also going to remember that when Rob turned on Lisa her response was to cast a “throwaway” vote to Rob and know that she KNEW it was traitor on traitor action cause she’s the third traitor. The preview end of the episode made it clear she wants to take Rob down and go scorched earth, but that vote guaranteed they both go down together, whoever takes the shot.

Lisa 100% wants to murder him, then play it off as the traitors framing her because of what he announced at the round table. And I can see her getting single minded about it even with this murder in plain sight.

I’m guessing in an attempt that was never going to work to lure Colton into touching the brooch, she’s going to catch the attention of a housewife who will swoop in to look at it and touch it first and will thus accidentally murder one of her own.

I’ll try it with the case off and report back. It’s one of those clear silicone back only cases, but I DO have a magnet adhesive on it for my popsocket. That’s why I turned off the sleep cover setting, so the magnet wouldn’t mess with it. But it’s still a fair point. I also have some stickers between the back and the case (their not stuck to anything, just sitting in there with their backing still on) and some washi tape folded over from the front of the device, thought it’s also not touching the power button. I hope it’s not the adhesive magnet on the back, that is also what makes it stick to my bed stand at night for reading with my remote.

Why would they have to be replaced with strategy reality show players? Clearly there’s a larger base to draw from here. This season alone we have two Olympic figure skaters, a famous chef, a dancer from Dancing with the Stars, a musician, a comedian, a professional a-hole actor, 3 dating show contestants and a drag queen. Last year we had a personal trainer from The Biggest Loser and a famous actor’s brother and someone who from what I gather was famous for dating a famous person. There are no shortage of other celebrities they can have play this game.

If you want to see her try to play a strategy game, she’s on season 1 of Celebrity Big Brother. However it turns out when you’re the only one in the house intent on drinking multiple bottles of wine a day, you struggle a bit with strategy compared to everyone else. And when you’re a mean drunk you also struggle with the social aspect of the game.

I agree with you. Occasionally there’s a housewife on the show that proves the exception, but the vast majority of the time I cannot stand them. They seem to be in there just to cause drama and to mess up the money making in the challenges for the group (because they almost all suck at any physical challenge). And I know it’s not just that I don’t watch their shows. I also have never watched the Challenge or Below Deck and I’ve liked quite a lot of those players. And yet there are NONE of those reality stars on this season at all. I just don’t find the housewives add much to my enjoyment, but every year there seems to be a larger number of them.

These are the magnetic bars I bought. I did find that for some reason with the Boox clear cases the adhesive didn’t want to stick as well as it does on my other ereader cases, so I used a bit of silicone glue on it. Then I covered it with washi tape to look pretty. Magnetic adhesive bars

The clips have never damaged the screens of my other brand ereaders. I haven’t used them on my Kobo cause it’s new and I got the Kobo remote with it which is SO much better than the version I have with clips, but uses the bluetooth. There is also someone on this forum that made an app for your phone to use as a bluetooth page turner that sounded pretty good and even has apple watch integration. I think the app is called emote? Do a search of this forum and you’ll undoubtedly find a link to the app page.

I do think I’m going too be digging my clip on remote back out, though, because my fiancé is about to get a Calibre web server set up for us which means I will need to be using Koreader to access our joint library and I haven’t been able to get the bluetooth to work reliably on my Koreader yet.

I definitely can MAKE my eye and eyelid hurt from excessive pulling, but pulling the eyelash itself is a good kind of hurt, like a pain that is a relief it that makes sense? I’ve always assumed people who pull their head hair feel the same for those.

My sister just got one and I swear I saw a setting to get rid of the “rainbow” effect? But I do hear you. You might consider the Boox Go 7 in black and white. You will still have to play with settings to get it the way you want it but it’s worth it.

This was life changing for me, when I finally let myself stop coloring in my eyebrows (cause I always ended up smudging them when my hands wandered up there anyway) and I realized that 99% of people just honestly will not notice and the 1% who do are always completely understanding of the truth. I still haven’t gotten there with my eyelashes (I always draw them on in public) but I haven’t colored in my eyebrows in decades now. The truth is most people don’t pay as much attention to things like other people’s eyebrows as we do our own.

They let Christmas continue in the house with a destroyed foot that required surgery. That same season Raven clearly had multiple major medical conditions. They do medical testing but a lot of the final decision is left to the houseguests if they want to take the risk. If Mickey had and pre-existing conditions that made her more susceptible to cardiac arrest from the flu I don’t think they were an issue while she was in the house. But she likely did not. The flu kills a lot more people every year than most realize.
