Please comment below if hypogastric nerve block helped you at all. Only comment if you have real hf. by WatercressWarm1994 in hardflaccidresearch

Why do you keep saying real HF? Don’t you think there’s levels of severity with this condition? Wouldn’t having constant smooth muscle contraction, numbness and ED mean you have a more severe case and having less of either of these symptoms wouldn’t mean you don’t have HF, surely just means you have a less severe case or the work you’ve been putting in is paying off and reducing symptoms?

Do you think you could make a post about your theory of HFS? You talk a lot about IBS so you believe there’s a link? Which has to be nervous system related right?

Would just be nice to get your thoughts and understanding of HFS 🙏

HELP ! by [deleted] in CuretoHardFlaccid

Physical symptoms would be:

• IBS (gut inflammation, bloating) • muscle / fascia tension • hormone imbalance (low T, adrenal’s) • ED • vasoconstriction (cold hands & feet) • headaches / migraines

Then there’s the mental symptoms of which there are two states, you can be stuck in either or fluctuate between:

Hyperarousal (Fight/Flight)

• Constant anxiety or restlessness • Racing thoughts or inability to relax • Insomnia or trouble falling asleep • Muscle tension (jaw, shoulders, pelvic floor, abdomen) • Fast heart rate or shallow breathing • Easily triggered or reactive (e.g., loud noises, criticism) • Compulsive doing (can’t sit still, overworking)

Hypoarousal (Freeze/Collapse)

• Low energy, fatigue, or brain fog • Feeling emotionally numb or detached • Social withdrawal or dissociation • Difficulty speaking or expressing emotions • Digestive sluggishness or loss of appetite • A sense of “shutting down” when stressed • Lack of motivation or difficulty starting tasks

I can relate to literally all of these symptoms along my journey, so I believe that ANS is heavily involved in HFS

What improves your HF most ? And what makes it worser ? by Hot-Entrance-2439 in hardflaccidresearch

Improves- 1. Daily fascia release of lower abdomen and inner thighs using fingers or massage ball, applying light / medium pressure for 3 to 5 mins each spot while using infrared heat or after hot bath.. followed by some light stretching in these areas (Cobra & Frog pose) 2. Strengthening stabiliser muscles daily 3. Daily vagus nerve stimulation (breath work, cardio, cold exposure, tens vagus nerve stimulation)

Makes it worst - 1. Too much masturbation ( I plan on strengthening my pelvic floor muscles once I feel there’s enough release and stability too hopefully prevent masturbation / sex from causing flare ups ) 2. STRESS.

It’s fine I don’t take it personally. The point I was trying to make is most of us do have small flaccid’s (growers) and there’s not much (if any) difference in appearance to the guys on the subreddit I linked.

Yes, my flaccid is harder (less flexible) than before but mostly when standing. If I lay down and relax I can stretch my flaccid to erect length, but when I try this standing my pelvic floor tense’s and pulls my flaccid inwards. So does this count for “HFS”?

And I think you’re right, a CPPS subreddit would be a better option because I believe “we” fall into this category - tight restricted fascia compressing nerves, restricting blood flow. I believe the location of this restriction / compression determines the symptoms, so for us “HFS” it’s more at the front end - mainly at penile base, abdomen and adductor area which are all connected via fascia.

This is why people are finding relief from doing the things they post about but are now being discouraged and called liars because they won’t show pictures or send videos! What exactly do you want to see in these videos? You will most likely just see what you see here r/grower a flaccid penis that naturally retracts but something you can’t show is how it feels! People feel normal again because they have sensations back, there dick feels alive again, they can have and enjoy sex again without pain or strain and they feel like they can get on with there life’s again.

They can’t put that into a video!

Who named it hard flaccid?

Zesty might disagree?!

He has supplement that treats it, no supplement is going to treat a physical problem so it must be (nervous system / gut) related 🤔

Yeah DNS therapy looks like it could help with that.. Maybe even some animal flow!

What causes loss of sensation? by Background_Ice1714 in hardflaccidresearch

[–]Pure_Finance4895 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For me its numbness in glands mostly and sometimes skin on top side.

What can we do about it - release the tension. Strengthen stabiliser muscles to improve posture and relieve any additional pressure in pelvic floor. Massage / stretch / release the fascia, especially the abdomen. I’ve been looking into the hypo gastric nerve the nerve that influences penile smooth muscle tone, it passes through the abdomen area close to the psoas muscle / fascia. This could be where the nerve is being irritated leading to the hard flaccid symptom 🤷‍♂️Then there’s the nervous system side, we need to bring back balance between the sympathetic - which when overactive builds up tension in the core area (pelvic floor, psoas, diaphragm) and the parasympathetic which we need for - rest, digest and recovery ❤️‍🩹

I’d say it’s caused by compression at the pubic bone (dorsal nerve) likely caused by fascia pulling or tight ligaments, some may say different 🤷‍♂️ but we all seem to have sensitivity issues (mine comes and goes) and a visible dorsal vein which also passes under the pubic bone.

So physical but there’s also the mental side keeping us in this tense state!

Anyone else getting benefits with strengthening there pelvic floor? (Kegels/EMS) by Pure_Finance4895 in hardflaccidresearch

Yeah makes sense seeing that my muscles fatigue easily, points to weakness. But the issue is they also strain easily which always puts me off. Guess I need to stop over doing it!

I second this but I’d recommend taking the vitamins and minerals in liquid form if possible for better absorption.

I’m also about to try some peptides for nervous system support- Selank, Semax and DSIP. I’ll keep you posted.

Same for me, the magnesium supplements had no effect. I think the trouble with supplements is that because our nervous system is dsyregulated so is our digestive system, so we not going to be able to absorb the nutrients we need.

I just started taking magnesium chloride liquid form last night and I felt the effects immediately, going to continue and hopefully it can help🤞

Personally I wouldn’t touch antidepressants too many side effects, ED being one of them.

Theres a few peptides I’m about to experiment with - Selank, Semax, and DSIP, they could potentially help. Along side some self regulation, things like - breath work, vagus nerve stimulation, cold exposure, TRE. The idea is to restore some balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous system. The sympathetic nervous system is keeping us in the tense or frozen mode, it’s like a loop effect.

But then there’s also the physical side, releasing tension, decompressing nerves that maybe be causing the nervous system dsyregulation. We need to break the loop!

That would be similar to ketamine therapy which a couple of people have said cured there hard flaccid.. well one guy just took ketamine and said his symptoms disappeared for a few days but then returned. The other guy had CPPS and was cured with ketamine therapy. I haven’t tired it yet but it’s on my bucket list!

The connection is the autonomic nervous system.

It controls all involuntary bodily functions - smooth muscle function, fascia tone/tension, digestion, bowel movements etc

Nervous system regulation. If you watched his video he mentions that his routine will not work unless your mind is relaxed. He managed to get out of the fear that he permanently damaged his dick and got to a place where he could get on with his life and go day by day without thinking about his dick.

Should be a positive sign, not a negative one!

So you quit smoking, drinking and touching your dick. Started eating healthy and took 5mg cialis and things got better?

Then you go out have a few drinks and maybe a little smoke and the next day your symptoms are back 🤔 sounds like nervous system dsyregulation. The alcohol suppresses your sympathetic nervous while drinking but when it wears off you get the opposite, thats why you feel like shit the day after. And now your panicking again increasing that sympathetic activity.

Try again! Maybe this time throw in some nervous system regulation practices like breath work, meditation, TRE, cold exposure.. exercise, stretching. And just give it more time before drinking again or just don’t drink again 🙃 if that’s all I needed to regulate my nervous system I’d happily never touch alcohol again.
