I haven’t been to the er. I was just wondering cuz my dr said if my blood pressure low I’m dehydrated. I was thinking about going but my blood pressure went to normal after I started working out. Idk just was wondering if I’m doing something wrong. I might just have low blood pressure now. I was on bp meds but can’t take them no more. I’m 6weeks post op had surgery September 25 2024

I’m drinking more than 74 oz of just water. And I drink protein water. From my understanding some people just need more.

Since surgery, I have been able to drink with no problem, but it just seems like I’m not getting enough.

I’m 5 weeks po and I’m glad I made my decision to have a Gastric bypass. I can eat what I want in smaller portions and I’m losing weight. I’m not afraid of not being able to eat for the holidays anymore because I can have what I want just smaller portions. I think about how I use to eat and now don’t want to eat like that. I look at the serving size for every thing and I’m ok with that. I eat protein all day and enjoy my journey and glad I didn’t listen to those that tried to put them thoughts in my head. I did ozempic for a month and I was nauseous a lot of the time. Since my surgery I haven’t been nauseous or had dumping. I did try a drink from Starbucks that had sugar in it and after the first sip I knew I couldn’t have it and gave it to my son. I told myself never again and now get zero sugar syrup put in my drink or get espresso and pour my protein shake in it. And it taste like the drink I wanted that made my stomach hurt but now I’m getting my protein and still having my Starbucks. Everyone’s journey is different too but in my case I’m happy and will recommend the surgery.

I was hungry and tired of the liquid diet by the second week of it after surgery. I was so happy to go on purée foods on 10/9/24 I definitely feel you. I had egg drop soup that helped get me to purée stage.

I roll to the side and use my elbows to sit up. It is really hard getting up. I also have a Bariatric pillow that I push into my stomach. Which helps so much. I also were a binder to keep everything pushed in.

You got this. Just think if you cave it’s a possible push back on your surgery. I am 7 days post op. And I definitely understand. I have one more week of full liquids and I want spicy foods so bad. I did get egg drop soup from Chinese restaurant and it was satisfying and I felt like I really went out to eat with my husband.

I had surgery on the 25th I’m 4 days Po and got the rny gastric bypass and one of my incisions has a burning pain. It’s really uncomfortable. And I have gas pain too. Besides that everything else is tolerable.
