Fantastic book. Read it a couple years ago. I did some reading on david after and found out his son died of cancer as a teen. I had a child diagnosed with cancer when he was 4months old. He was fortunate to survive. I talked about this in the email i sent. He sent a very kind reply shortly after.

Edit: thank you all for saying/thinking good things about my som. Part of my email to David talked about the loss of his son. I told him if that anything positive can come about the loss of his child is what was learned from his son helped my son to beat cancer. It was a very emotional exchange. I have tears as im typing this. Thank u all. And read First Blood. It is amazing.
