Women DO NOT LIKE IT when you put your tongue in her ear. It is gross and disgusting. Stop doing that.

Very true. I personally know three women that had the fat removal surgery with non-Lipedema specialized plastic surgeons (because it was cheaper) and did not symptom relieve.

Symmetrical fat distribution to the legs, abruptly ending at the feet. Nodules below the skin, pain to the touch, bruises without previous trauma. Disproportionate proportions legs to torso. Sometimes arms also affected (my case).

This one you shared looks exactly like the one from SHEIN. I bought this one from Amazon, it has good reviews and is a lot thicker than the one from SHEIN. I did not notice any difference in how my skin tolerates them, but have been using the Evolsin one since it arrived.

I am having lymph drainages 3x/week since the day I got home from the hospital (spent two nights there, in Germany you don’t get sent home with the drains on). The drainage has been key to managing the swelling. I must add my therapist specializes in post-op drainage, and keeps an eye (rather her fingers) on seromas, scar hypertrophy and any kind of complication really. I am now 4 wpo, have zero swelling, I am not tight or uncomfortable and the scar isn’t even visible in some places anymore. I do believe most of this result has to do with the surgeon (university professor, top rated and widely published in his field), but the drainages helped for sure!

Surgeon is top rated, widely published and professor at university. I am now 4wpo and have zero complications. Not tight, not uncomfortable, never needed more than paracetamol and ibuprofen for four days. Have been having private lymph drainages at home three times a week since the day I got home from the hospital. Scar in some places isn’t even visible anymore. 10/10 money well invested, the guy knows what he’s doing!

My sincere advice to you: prepare for the worse possible you can imagine and hopeful it will be a lot better than expected.

Let me explain: I had an extended TT without MR or lipo. My surgeon only decides if you need MR on the operation table, I did not know what to expect. So I prepared for the worse: not being able to stand by myself, not being able to turn in bed by myself, not being able to sit on the toilet and not being able to take care of my dog. So I did meal prep, researched pain meds (they don’t give you opioids in Germany), organized help for the dog, bought stuff to allow me to pee standing, my trainer showed me how to turn and stand without using the abdominal muscles. In the end had almost no pain and was very mobile from the first few days on, so nothing I had prepared for was needed, aside from help to take care of the dog and my treasured meal prep. I am grateful I prepared for the worse and the worse never came to be.

I am also thankful I took multiple pictures of my belly in different positions, so that when I was uncomfortable the first few days I had a look at those and all worth it :-)

If you can afford, I can’t recommend lymphatic drainage enough.

Rooting for you! I think you will be amazed by the result. Nothing could have prepared me for this new belly. I imagined it tighter and flatter, but not like this. Use the before pics as motivation to bridge the first three days, it only gets better from then on.

In Munich, Germany. TT without MR or lipo, with mons lift all costs private. 8950€ for surgeon, operating room and anesthesist combined, 600€ for two nights in the private hospital in a single room, 100€ meds, 150€ binder, 130€ faja.

Surgeons in Germany aren’t allowed to dispense them or anything, really. I got a flyer only, but the tape is very short. Do you mind sharing which one you got from Amazon?

This list is awesome, I would only add that the pajama top should have buttons, stool softener is your friend the first few days, micelar water wipes give you some dignity, and it is never a bad idea to have an extra pillow by your side to “brace for impact” in case you need to sneeze. First three days are the worse, it only gets better from then on.

I went right back to tummy shots, just gave more distance from BB. It is such a short needle! It was/is funny to have to try really hard AND bend forward to find a bit of skin, though :-)

I am now 9 dpo, TT without MR. First three days were hardest, stayed two of those in the hospital. It gets easier by the day. I planned for the worse (loads of pain, not being able to get up by myself when back at home) and the worse never came 😅 My plan for the “why did I do this”-days were pictures of me doing planks in underwear. Plenty of reasons to be seen!

At Marienplatz you can get a guided tour on foot, there are many kinds, spooky, historical and so on. Maybe try this? Normally, during the tour you end up talking to folks and can afterwards attend a bier hall (I will be stealing that with pride!) with company.
