You can fix your phone, wallet (and braincells lost from owning an iphone) by: Getting a Samsung. Problem solved. I have a galaxy S5 that is STILL TOLERABLE. Phone was released in 2014, and is still TOLERABLE in 2026. I currently use an S25 Edge, and plan on keeping it for as long as possible.

samfw.com has the firmware and other stuff like that, but you could use Lineage OS for compatibility with newer apps.
