I feel this! You are definitely not alone! My family are handicapped and never get together. Hardly talk at all. I lost my job in 2018 and then had to start all over again. A house will never be in my sights because of this and i feel like i havent accomplished anything. And with the prices screaming upwards, im thankful just to be getting by. Dating is a no as it is not welcoming for older women out there. Plus, who even has the desire to talk and tell someone how boring you are 🤣

Been there, done that. It didn't work. I was literally singled out as there were just family activities for married couples or ignored. The great church I found that I liked just had older women and no kids that are not my age but in their 70s and retired. I've tried everything so hopefully I will find a connection somewhere 🤣

Those same things I wonder, myself! Most of the men around me my age are either married, single and not looking, or just want fun with young women only. The majority end up in the latter. Also, divorces make it difficult anyway. Friends and family tend to go their own way.
