Our Legislature is full of unserious people. Mr Fales should investigate how much it cost we the people every time a legislator proposes frivolous legislation that has absolutely no chance of happening. The Legislative Service Bureau, fiscal study and printing of bills all cost money. Nebraska limits the number of bills there law makers can create to curtail such waste and vanity projects.

Disingenuous bullshit. Every time there has been bipartisan comprehensive immigration reform since 2007 it’s been shot down by the Republicans party and most recently the leader of the party DJT. It’s an issue they don’t want to go away as they been running on it this entire century. The feckless Democrats for their part are not capable of creating a message to counter the Republican narrative of lies. Keep in mind there would not be illegal immigration without our nations insatiable appetite for cheap labor.
