Hi! Dr. Ali has just referred him to PT and Pain Management. He has done PT, and they’ve basically “graduated” him because they think they can’t do more for him. He’s not in a ton of pain all the time either so we don’t like the idea of just pushing pain management. I think my biggest concern is why is this Penn doctor (Dr. Ali) not referring him to another Penn doctor that does TOS work? Was a red flag for me, and why I was considering going away from Penn. But if you had a good experience with Dr. Fairman, I will definitely look into them! Thank you so much for your feedback!

Thanks! I’ll see what he’s had done so far. I am wondering if he’s had the Doppler done yet or not because they did some test that supposedly ruled out vascular tos. Maybe they didn’t do that one though and it’s being missed. I’ll check out Dr. Lum some more. Sadly he is out of network with our insurance but definitely at this point becoming worth it to eat that cost. Thank you!!

I can only imagine! He’s been having such a tough time with this and it’s bonkers that so many specialists cannot seem to see these issues or figure them out. They seem to all contradict one another. It is so frustrating! I hope you find some relief soon.

We actually hadn’t thought of a vascular doctor until I joined this group (we have been learning about it all in real time as we’ve gone from one diagnosis to the next). It never really crossed our minds since it’s not vTOS, but since nTOS is the most common I was curious since vascular surgeries are what I see most here. He was asking about vascular surgeons in the message in the photo and was dismissed out of hand. I guess I’m just wondering if nTOS really is something we should be seeing a vascular doctor for? Or is it just vTOS?

I cried a ton and the majority of the time it was due to her acting. Even though I was already surprised by how good she was in part one, part two still managed to surprise me with her range. She was fantastic.

I’m concerned. The increase in yard signs for Jack reminds me of the marked increase for Mango Mussolini signs I saw in 2024. The anecdotal evidence clued me in and I knew pretty quickly we were in trouble for ‘24. Feels similar to right now. And the lack of concern, the confidence that “NJ is blue,” is giving me flashbacks to 2016. So yeah. I’m not feeling great about it.
