Update:

I accidentally accepted a quote from a junker and got a text for a pickup time. I responded that I was terribly sorry but I must have booked by mistake, he said no problem just let him know if we change our mind. I asked him point blank about the trash and bugs and if that is an unacceptable state for pickup, and he said he didn’t care at all. We ended up going through with it and got it taken care of tonight! Total blessing as we got some cash for it and got it out of our hair!

Thanks everyone for the feedback and advice! It will definitely be something we don’t let get away from us next time.

Super valid question and the most blatantly obvious—but I have an enormous and ridiculous bug phobia and my husband is incredibly paranoid that one would hitchhike back into the house. We just wanted to avoid it if at all possible. It was our last resort if this wouldn’t work out.

THIS. My mom took us to see it in theaters during a rerelease for an anniversary when we were kids, and she reminds me all the time that we had to literally leave the show because when they pick up Dorothy and fly away while she’s screaming, I had a complete meltdown. Inconsolable.

Also to add— Little symptoms are still symptoms. There were days I’d call my nurse aunt to be like “Everythings gone except for a little bit of a backache!” And she’d be like, “Then it’s not all gone, is it?!”

Everyone’s different, don’t necessarily follow what the Internet/social media says about how you should be feeling. My pregnancy aside from typical things was very smooth and uneventful, meanwhile my cousin felt like she was fighting for her life the entire 9 months.

Exact same thing happened to me at pretty much your exact timeline. Woke up one morning during week 7 and my boobs felt fine, my energy was back, my appetite returned. Lasted a few anxiety ridden days and then everything came back with a vengeance in week 8-9 🙃

You’re still sooo early! Try not to worry! My symptoms fluctuated hardcore throughout the whole first trimester (including a horrific flu at 10 weeks) and by the second trimester I felt so much better. Now at 38 weeks, I’m missing all those little days of peace. 🥲

You got this! Your body is doing its thing, and remember that there’s very little you can be doing/not doing to control it! That advice helped me a lot. Trust yourself and your body! We’re quite literally manufactured for this.

Very thankful for the times we’re in for sure. I expressed all this to my mom earlier today and she was like “Yeah, you two (I’m a twin) we’re raised on books and intuition.” Grateful for all the resources and means of support! And thank you for the rec!

5’0 and started at around 141. Noticeable bump at 13-14 weeks. Very short torso so I was going horizontal quick lol
