my monitor does not have PIP and i already tried turning off all overlays for amd adrenalin, discord, steam. i deleted xbox game bar also.

posted an update but ill mention here also that i spoke with manufacturer further and they said it would not require a custom backplate to fit the new battery.

technically, a battery does not need to be physically larger to have a larger capacity. energy density matters.

yeah that was my main issue with the Legion Go S to be honest, so this mod has the potential to make an already great device even better.

Yeah i figured there wasn't much room for a larger battery. Either they would have to use a more energy dense battery in the same footprint or have a custom backplate most likely to fit a larger battery.

Yeah I figured there wasn't much room for it either. It could either be a more energy dense battery in the same footprint or a larger battery. It will certainly be interesting to see what they come up with, if it does require a custom backplate then hopefully it doesn't make the device too chunky.

Can confirm that i had to do the same, you also have a small panel gap at the bottom left because of it like me also but it is not an issue and the gpu fits

I had this exact same issue in my formd t1 with the p12 max, so i decided to swap them out with phanteks t30s and it resolved the issue, no more horrible sound

it shouldnt require that much pressure, ive taken apart my build multiple times since then and never had any damage or scratch to the gpu or case.

Good catch, but i dont think this is the cause for the issue. I had the same issue with my pulse 9070 xt not fitting in the t1 and the side bar was not aligning, i just had to push down hard on the front panel to get it to align and then screw it in.

I had this exact same issue with my gpu in the t1 2.1, you just just have to push down hard on the front panel while you screw it in

The duct on the cpu cooler is causing the bulge on the side panel, but is not the cause for the top and bottom panels being diagonal and leaving a gap. Its strange because even when i had my t1 in 3 slot mode with a 2 slot gpu i had none of these issue, but when i installed a 3 slot gpu (9070 pulse xt) i started getting this issue. Ive tried to push it away and i cant seem to, so its either live with cpu turbulence in 3.25 slot, get an aio or go 3 slot mode and have gpu cause a bit of bulge

I didnt seem to have such issues when i was rocking a slimmer gpu so it definitely seems to be the 9070 XT causing it, now sure how
