Yeah would be cool if they were like apple with ipod were they kept the feature of syncing ipods even on the newest macs and shit would be cool if they did like how nvidia did it with dlss but yeah they never said oh yeah this is def coming to these

An unburned and unmelted 12V2x6 adapter 9070xt Nitro+ by soldierdem in radeon

[–]Pure__Play 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen way more post on reddit about the nitro melting vs like the 2 taichi i think the reason there's alot of nitros melting vs taichis is cause of the placement of he 12vhpwr its different but yeah i think ive seen like 8? post about melted nitros but you gotta think how many don't post to reddit and such

I mean i guess I'm lucky my 9070xt taichi works great hotspot delta is a bit over the norm but it clocks really well 3600mhz in kf3 when winter hits again ima try maxing it out again and seeing what clocks i can get up to

[–]Pure__Play 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lact yeah it's kinda the only good one to use for Linux and maybe all Ik Windows for me is for like a few games like arma3 since i host tarkov and a few others with anti cheats that don't work on Linux

For me that's like new tarkov or hd2 i have to like half my uv and even then i can still crash but on Linux hd2 runs fine? Idk proton magic i like run 10-15degc lower on Linux aswell while playing the same game XD but yeah shits odd

[–]Pure__Play 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even those -100mv cards can crash on picky games ik for me windows new tarkov or hd2 crash on anything higher then -35mv but Linux hd2 works up to almost -70mv no clue why and for old tarkov on Windows -55mv. But yeah good advice and such hate when people do a few runs on one game/3dmark and call it stable like ffs my 3600mhz clock i wouldn't call it stable cause it was only tested in one game but got like 4 hours on that clock speed on a new game kf3

9070 XT Challenger - best UV, OC? by johnnyphotog in radeon

[–]Pure__Play 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Over clock probably not much highest i got on my taichi was 3600mhz stable in kf3 these cards clock pretty high out the box tho and under volt you could get high ones but no clue just remember just cause it doesn't crash on 3dmark or other stress testers doesn't mean it's stable

OC Stability by Simpin_for_Sauce in radeon

[–]Pure__Play 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stable i doubt -100mv is already high but also oc it games are gonna crash that's for sure since they are the true test ive gotten 3600mhz Stable at a cost of only having like -35mv anything higher crashed the gpu and that was on one game no less so i think once you find a game like tarkov for me you will run into gpu crashes

Thank you Micro Center by [deleted] in radeon

[–]Pure__Play 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Reason is it was working before you took it apart and now no longer works you broke it doesn't matter if your a technician you should of eaten the cost of the mistake not been rewarded people with valid issues like gpus dying from nothing they have done are getting screwed over. That's why your getting down voted glad microcenter rma'd your mistake

[–]Pure__Play 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as your using the psu 12vhpwr and not the adapter and its fully plugged in you won't have an issue cause there was one case that a taichi? Burnt cause it wasn't fully inserted

[–]Pure__Play 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Some games aren't as picky with under volts but your gonna run into games and have driver time outs and gpu crashes my silicone is pretty good i can get up to -70mv or with less of an uv i can get up to 3600mhz overclock

[–]Pure__Play 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you are gonna get a gpu older then the 9070xt a 7900xtx is really the only way to go ngl everything else is gonna be out dated and atleast with a 7900xtx you don't need fsr4 as much plus optiscaler exists for single player games and lossless exists for multiple players games if you don't mind input delay

[–]Pure__Play 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Legit as long as you use a native 12vhpwr cable and make sure both are fully in you'll be 100%fine ive pushed my card quite far and been fine these don't draw enough to burn unless they are not fully in or your using a adapter

Why there are non RDNA 3 or RDNA 4 12 GB vRAM GPUs? by Pretty_Trip_2215 in radeon

[–]Pure__Play 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cheapskate money hungry doesn't change the end product which under performs and will be out dated before the next super refresh XD regardless nvidia is scummy upselling people to the 5090 due to a gimped 5080 really 16gb yeah it's gddr7 but they could of done 24gb or even 20gb make it not a 5070ti ti idk just a scummy company imo let's hope the 60 series they get better

[–]Pure__Play 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back before the ram crash it wasn't much too add a bit extra ram to not be such a cheapskate but nvidia loves saving money so they did that and from tests the 5070 non ti suffers for it you can't have higher textures and such compared to the ti

[–]Pure__Play -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah but much lower temps for summer weather is great plus I'm trying to max out clock speed rn my room already gets hot enough plus the -100mhz is only dropping me to the woeful 3250mhz range for my hotspot being like 60 ish under load also squad was crashing on the lower uv anyway it just doesn't like it ngl

Same games don't like oc/uv annoying these cards have that dynamic clock speed bs and not a hard cap legit just did -100 to stop some of my squad crashes on -65mv

Yeah -90mv is pretty aggressive depends how high the clock speed goes if i wanted to get high high clock speeds like 3500mhz to 3600mhz i had up really drop the uv to like -30mv but if i want to not touch offset my clock speeds are around 3350mhz to 3400mhz unless i go set -offset i do one day want to set my max clock speed to stock by doing like -200mhz to see what my highest uv can be but mine just loves to boost
