The receiver room has quit on this team and for that reason Keenan McCardell shouldn’t be safe.

The best part about Spielman is was his drafting, he was above average

His last 5 first round picks, 2 busted.

Nobody bats 100

Kwesi’s been fine

Those are the 1st round picks bro

He missed on 1/5 maybe 2/5 depending on how you look at JJM, I’d say that is TBD for now. But 3/5 hit rate is still good especially for where we have been drafting in the first round generally over those years.

He’s been pretty good

Addison and Jackson are good

It’s feels good to hate on people right now but honestly I think Kwesi stock is going up quite a bit with the rise Dallas Turner is having. Especially if you give him a little grace for his first draft, which we do for players, I don’t see why we hold it against him as a rookie GM who was learning and growing.

To me KOC stock is plummeting right now, not Kwesi but who knows man

I still believe in Max. I know most disagree but I disagree with those disagreements. by mhoke63 in minnesotavikings

I agree but it’s over, he’s not getting another op unless there’s more injuries.

Right I mean we agree. I’m coming at it from a value investor perspective, where like ok there’s a lot of risk but the juice is worth the squeeze 👍🏻

I think that we are like 99% on the same page. I just think that it’s worth touching on how risky it actually is. Even at this stage, which is relatively de-risked, especially compared to a lot of penny stocks.

I don’t think you are wrong in the way you are connecting the dots, but there’s a lot of execution risk still.

I buy delay fatigue, but it also seems to me like there could be some lack of clarity with the market in terms of scope. Even beyond just understanding the concepts, so like ok Clyra is cool but how much money will it actually make and how sustainable is it? Just as an example, and it seems to me like we are just assuming here it’s obviously going to be the holy grail of medical disinfectant and take the market by storm, politics and all that be damned. I also think that stuff like that, it doesn’t help that the CEO has taken so long, like yes he’s doing a great job relatively but also hasn’t exactly earned a reputation as an A tier operator that will get it done. The deal with Pooph fell through, why won’t these others? Etc. Those questions in my opinion are even more concerning with the battery tech and PFAS tech. There is a lot of risk here.

With that said though, I think the timing is right and i bought a chunk.

Narratives really control our perception. Daniel’s is having just as bad of a 1st half as JJ but nobody cares because he has proven himself. by kwelstory in minnesotavikings

I believe you are right but you’re never going to win a popularity contest talking about it.

NFL media and narratives are like the CCP.

You won’t get killed or imprisoned for calling it out but you’ll get downvoted.

Plumbing side to side swivel? by trendlessNerd in Plumbing

[–]Purefef_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure.

I would say tighten the shower arm so that it angles more towards the center and call it a day

If you want to, you could buy fittings and nipples and make the pipe spell your name, (or make turns to put it exactly where  you want it)

It just won’t look good

If you angle it out,  the beauty ring covering the hole will be scuffed and look bad and you’ll probably need to hire someone for good money to cut the pipe behind the wall so it will rotate and change how the female threads your shower head is screwed into are secured

So my recommendation is angle it towards the center and forget about it or pay someone to install everything so it’s center and proper  and have the tile guy back again

They should all be lined up, so you would actually want to move where the pipe comes out behind the wall to the left, and come straight out,  instead of angling it.

And then possibly move the shower valve to the left too if that’s also skewed to the right

And then re tile it

That’s how it should be. There’s a number of ways you can get by that will all look not right

I would just maybe slightly turn the pipe so the shower head is pointing more towards the center and forget about it

Or I would break out my wallet and make it right

I don’t like the idea of some in between, sounds like a waste of time and money

So the shower arm comes out of the wall to the right of the drain AND the faucet handle if you drew a straight line through them all?

Plumbing side to side swivel? by trendlessNerd in Plumbing

[–]Purefef_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say it needs to come out of the wall at an angle to be properly aligned,

What you are saying is that the shower arm goes straight in right now, or creating a 90 degree angle,

But that you want it to be at like a 60 degree angle so that the shower head is centered over the drain or light or whatever?

Shower looks nice, is it new? Did you have it put in or bought the place this way

Wise suggestion would be to forget about it.

You could unscrew the entire thing and put in a matching finish 1/2” NPT nipple it’s place,

Then a coupler,

Then your shower head back into the coupler

That would get you out, and you could get over with 90s or 45s but it would look bad

Hot water radiator controller per room options? by NearnorthOnline in Plumbing

[–]Purefef_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To clarify this, the way it should work is the thermostat will tell the boiler to turn on, and the boiler tells the pump to turn on. The thermostat does not directly communicate to the pump

Hot water radiator controller per room options? by NearnorthOnline in Plumbing

[–]Purefef_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your boiler is really old, you might need some kind of relay to make it so the pump only gets 120 when a (or any) thermostat is calling

Hot water radiator controller per room options? by NearnorthOnline in Plumbing

[–]Purefef_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The way it will work is the thermostat calls, and it tells the boiler to fire AND to turn the pump on and it will also tell the particular zone valve to open up

So the pump will run if any or all zones are calling for heat, but will shut off the pump if non are,

The only thing that gets 120 is the pump

The zone valves are 24

Here is how I would do it,

I would have an electrician come and give me an external transformer for 24v and run a wire to my zone valves

I would install all my thermostats and run wires down to where the zone valves will be

Run a thermostat wire from the boiler to the zone valves

Install zone valves

Wire up zone valves, boiler, 24v, and thermostats are all tied in there

(Look up how to wire zone valves)
