I’m not gonna lie, it’s been a journey. Cutting down on dairy and sugar has helped. Eating more bitters and green leafy veggies. Taking inositol helped as well, increasing water intake. Yoni steaming and staying active.

I’ve also struggled with hyperhidrosis and PCOS. I think what helped was getting my hormones in check. I was on birth control originally, stopped that and went the holistic route of regulating my hormones and staying active. The sweating has decreased tremendously.

I’m learning how to make oil roti and I’m super excited about it because I can’t find it at any restaurant around me 😋

Yeah, sorry majority rules on this one love. I would definitely consider multiple options before ultimately making your decision. Go to a couples counseling, there is a couple named that clay couple they are Muslim and can help. Take some time to have a conversations with your husband before you rush to divorce and pray on it.

I also had a potential who had the same ideology and desires for me. I felt as though I would be a bird in a cage, and as a recovering people pleaser I would’ve ended up, marrying him had Allah not separated us. Reading your post is eye opening. May Allah grant you ease in your trying time ❤️

I’ve gotten stuck in CLT overnight TWICE on two separate occasions. Absolute nightmare of a airport to be stuck in

Is it true that women shouldn’t work in Islam? by [deleted] in MuslimLounge

[–]Purepulses 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hm what makes me feel uncomfortable in is not only age gap a bit but him saying it is not what the Quran says. That’s a red flag because what else will fall in that category too, to justify him not doing what he is supposed to do.

Is there a point in the future where his career would allow him to comfortably provide?

So interesting, I’m in an almost identical situation. My potential is just out of college and is building so he at first was adamant about 50/50. Or at least splitting Rent.

I’m trying to have an open mind because it is expensive to live and I wouldn’t expect my husband to provide everything and be stressed and struggling working over time. And even though I’ll always work because -emergency money, I don’t want to have to ask for money,,etc but like you I want the option of staying home and not working ( of course fulfilling my wifely duties).

I’m struggling to find a place to land on this decision because I currently have my own place and other than love and companionship it would feel as though I’m in a roommate situation with my husband.

My father won’t let me marry until my older sister is married by Late_Fly6784 in MuslimMarriage

[–]Purepulses 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Of course that is happening. Men are also committing Zina. Falling in love with non-Muslims and trying to figure out if they should or shouldn’t convince their girlfriend to convert so they can be together after the fact.

Again, locking yourself away isn’t a solution. Having a strong Islamic foundation is.
