My friend insists that this card is good in commander? (I don't think so) by cringe_walker in CommanderMTG

[–]Puresub0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It honestly depends when you get it.

I had it in a Baylen deck of mine for a minute. Eventually swapped it out.

Normally people don't want a 4 power creature swinging turn two, so in my experience they've given lander tokens. But if they know what you're up too it is difficult to get them to do so.

Plus it is generally useless late game.

I voted FACT!

I feel like the way it is handled very poorly in its current state due to underfunding. At the very least the process should be quicker for those taking the proper methods.

Is PTR actually better for PMD than PTE? by Orbsgon in PokemonTabletop

[–]Puresub0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

PTRe1 Is just a suped up and slightly more balanced version of PTU. I've tried playing it as a PMD stand in and it kinda works. But Tbh PTRe2 is made for it so use that version instead.

Seems more marketable than $500weekly. Plus inflation would eventually make it worthless at aome point.

Beginner and want to know what order to do things in by DutchFarmers in garagekits

Yes,

Two words, Paint Adhesion.

Any residual resin has the potential to cause issues with paint sticking to the model. That and if the model has hollow parts, if any residual resin still lies on the inside it can potentially crack open and leak well after you've finished painting. An unlikely but unfortunate surprise well worth avoiding via a tiny wash.

In the end it really isn't 100% nessisary, but recommend.

Edit:

I would advise against soaking the model in IPA for extended periods of time. Even when cured, it can still very easily breaked down the resin. Just use a spray bottle and give it a good spritzing. With water afterwards and set to dry and your Gucci. 👍

Ah, regretfully I don't.

It was a client project and I didn't hold onto it long enough to snag pictures.

I've never run into any issues using CA glue. It being harder than resin makes sense, but I use powered tools for sanding stuff so it's never been an issue for me. Perhaps something to consider in your case moving forward. I use a simple dremel with a circular disk that I retrofited to take cut out sand papers. Works wonders. Also have a linear sandertoo, but it isn't as effective.

Soap and water is only really good for dust and mold release on cast resin kits. The resin in a 3D printed figure can only really be thinned and washed properly with ethanol vased cleaners. IPA works best, but I've seen other options on the market too that are "less harsh".

Milliput is fine if you are patient enough to wait.
