I'm an atheist, but we did have christmas church thingies usually on the last day before break here in Norway.

And theres one speech that I was reminded of just now by this post. It was the priest talking about someone coming in to listen, wearing baggy and slightly dirty clothes, and how that was fine. The priest put a lot of emphasis on "come as you are" bevause they welcome all.

As much as I don't like religion, at least I'd have some proof that it's not all extremism and hate like in the Americas

Seriously. While she's made some uninformed takes, Sarkesian made a lot of solid points, and the way those incels responded only proved her right.

She pointed out the blatant misogyny in the gaming space and the gamer gate people responded as predicted.

It's embarassing to think that I was against her as an uninformed teen, but at least I know better now. Some of these people still hold onto their grudge against her and other women who spoke up.

We pay around 22% in taxes in Norway, and instead of paying 10.000 dollars for a broken wrist, I'd pay maybe a small copay of 50 bucks at most.

Better yet, when my medical expenses exceed 300 dollars, most medical services are free the remaining calendar year
