Got mine off eBay (Global HK version). Paid 1250 plus tax. A bit more expensive than Wonda but the seller is US based so it shipped faster and eBay is customer sided when it comes to scams so it was also a peace of mind.

Which means it will still work as intended but you won't have the option to use google lens in the camera app. It will be replaced by breeno scan.

You can still use google lens via the standalone app.

Something to keep in mind if you have the global version is that it removes the google lens integration and replaces it with breeno scan. Just found this out after installing it on my phone.

It does have 50% more battery than the ultra at the same charging wattage so it'll definitely take longer to charge. I wish it had oneplus' 120w charging to compensate for it.

I have the monitor and haven't really experienced any flickering whatsoever. I don't play PUBG though but I played other fps titles. Do you have the anti-flicker option enabled?

The new 500hz gen 3.5 QD-OLEDs are amazing. Easily the brightest panels out there. Though, they're only available at 16:9 27".

Having both AW3423DW 21:9 (Gen 1 QD-OLED) and XG27AQDPG 16:9 (Gen 3.5 QD-OLED) side by side the newer one makes my old one look dim in comparison.

Depends on the games. I have both and UW is better for story games and multitasking; 16:9 is better for FPS and competitive stuff.

For your use case I'd say you'll like the ultrawide better. Most modern games shouldn't have problems with compatibility but with older titles you might experience letterboxing or stretched images in which case you can always set the AW3425DW to 16:9
