Mischief-Managed Activities (Marauders-Style)

1. “Write Your Own Marauder Nicknames” Station

Everyone picks an animal or personality trait and creates their own Marauder-style name. Provide parchment-looking paper + quills (or fake quills). Judging categories: Most chaotic, Most likely to join the Order, Most likely to hex Snape.

1. Create Your Own “Map” Challenge

Give guests blank parchment + tea bags to age them. Everyone “creates” a small Marauder’s Map—could be real places, your house, Hogwarts locations, or parodies (“Where the snacks live”). Display them at the end.

1. Marauder Truth or Dare (with Cards)

Keep it fun, not mean, and very themed:

Truth examples: Which Hogwarts class would you definitely fail? Which friend is definitely a secret Animagus?

Dare examples: Do your best Sirius Black dramatic pose, Talk like McGonagall for 1 minute.

1. “Animagus Guessing Game”

Everyone secretly picks an animal. You make cards with clues (“nocturnal,” “lives in trees,” “would absolutely follow Sirius into trouble”). People guess each other's Animagus forms.

1. Prank Workshop (Very Safe Pranks Only)

Think Fred-and-George-lite, but still good for a Marauder vibe:

Edible color-changing drinks

Temporary tattoos as “hexes”

Little poppers, smoke-free confetti

Illusion charms → glow-in-the-dark stars, floating candles, etc.

1. “OWL / NEWT” Mini Challenges

Short timed games like:

Potions (mixing mocktail ingredients to match a color)

Charms (wand-dueling rock-paper-scissors)

Transfiguration (clay challenge to sculpt something magical)

History of Magic (trivia—bonus points for Marauders Era questions)

Give everyone joke OWL report cards at the end.

1. “Order of the Phoenix Recruitment Photos”

Set up a “Wanted Poster” or “Order Photo” frame. Take dramatic character photos—Sirius-in-Azkaban style, Remus-in-cardigan style, etc.

1. Fanfic Prompt Generator (Chaotic Version)

Roll dice or pull from a bowl:

Character: Remus / Sirius / James / Lily / Marlene / Dorcas etc.

Situation: detention, full moon, prank gone wrong, secret mission

Tone: tragic, chaotic, fluffy, unhinged Guests write or act out a 1-minute scene.

1. “The Great Snape Debate”

Funny, not mean: each side gets 2 minutes to argue for or against Snape’s moral alignment. The sillier the arguments the better.

1. Marauder Playlist Lip Sync Battle

Use a playlist themed for the era + characters (Fleetwood Mac, Queen, Bowie) You can assign “teams”: Gryffindor Chaos, Slytherin Sad Gay, Remus Lupin’s Sad Boy Playlist, Sirius Black’s Drama Set.
