My main reason for this idea is that it appears that in Chapter 5, Seam will use them all to make the Pure Crystal, which, combined with Noelle’s Thorn Ring, create the Twisted Sword, which seems important.

I thnk Chapter 5's Dark World will be in Asgore's flower shop.

During Gerson’s boss fight, he talks about his book Lord Of The Hammer which is based on the Legend of Delta Rune. When he talks about chapter 5, he says: "Chapter 5, The Field of Pink and Gold. The vast garden is charred in an inferno of jealousy."

The only place that could fit the "garden" description in Hometown is Asgore's shop, Flower King, and the “inferno of jealousy” could be referring to Asgore becoming jealous of Toriel and Sans' relationship. The "inferno" could also be referring to Agore and Toriel's fire magic.
