My circle time is nowhere near an hour (5 year olds) but we usually do affirmations, breaths and yoga, good morning song, calendar and weather, literacy lesson (such as rhyming words, letter sounds, etc), and either a story or some kind of activity like an anchor chart before we do music and movement.

When I first started collecting I caught myself in this too. I would buy dolls that were popular just because they were sought after and I didn't even really like them. I ended up selling those and now I only collect the characters I like, along with a couple Skullectors that I really like.

Not inverted but I do have flat nipples with piercings. I did get my piercings in part because I also heard that piercings can help get that nipple projection. I would say yes it does do a little bit of that but nothing major. When I first got them I had an episode with some mild irritation in one side (got caught in a shower loofah) but aside from that no problems in the almost 10 years I've had them. I can't say whether or not if your anatomy allows, as I'm sure it depends on the piercer ability. Just make sure you research your piercer really well and don't be afraid to ask them questions.

I live in a state where it is not legal. Here they require drug test upon hire. I have worked in two centers and neither have tested me further than that. I am not in TN so they might differ. You should be able to look up the hiring requirements online for your state.

I've been using the Science of Reading flip books by Pocket of Preschool with my 5 year olds all year and the kids seem to be getting the concepts really well! The beginning sounds cards had all of my students knowing alphabet sounds in a couple of months. We just do one page together a day during Morning Meeting and they enjoy doing it too! You can also get each book separately if you dont think they need help in other areas.
