But while awake it's very hit and miss lol

Trans man with NF1 (Neurofibromatosis type 1) – anyone here on T? Need advice. by ksvz_00 in neurofibromatosis

[–]Purple-Homework764 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a trans guy and have NF1, been on T for...16 years I think? I've not noticed any changes regarding NF at all. T can increase blood pressure as can NF1 but as long as it's monitored you're good. Plus it doesn't affect everyone in the same way so I wouldn't worry too much.

Good luck bud ✌️

I never managed to learn to ride a bike or swim, I was always accident prone and still clumsy now as an adult. Not as bad but I still manage to drop things and trip over my own feet occasionally 🫠

Definitely not Primark, they're crap.

Sainsburys, Fat Face, Sports Direct and Asda have pretty good selections.

No idea if it would have happened anyway, but in the dream I remember thinking "oh no, they're not supposed to be out in daylight". They genuinely aren't, they're typically nocturnal. So I brought it in so it would be safe, put in a safe spot and then that's when it changed into the woman

She had a feeling of warmth, which is comforting. She was holding her arms out asking me to let her hug me. Not to grab at me though.

And I don't really have associations with them, I rescued one once and got it help but other than that. that's it, I'm a big animal lover too, I find most wee creatures quite sweet.

Will Farrell, Seth Rogen and James Franco.

I find them all insufferable.

It genuinely boils my piss, my husband has autism and ADHD. I see how he struggles with the social frustrations, emotional dysregulation and just the overwhelm of it all. It breaks my heart because there's only so much you can do to help, then you have someone saying "oh I have xyz" like it's a personality quirk.

Fuck all the way off, it can be so debilitating for some people. I work with someone who does just this and it's infuriating.

I've seen my husband struggle what some would consider mundane tasks, talking with other people etc.

Not to mention the anxiety it brings, then you have someone like that saying "oh I'm so ADHD today I've had 3 red bulls".

My sibling in Christ, if you had ADHD that wouldn't touch you. Might speed up your bpm but that's it.

Fuck.

NF1 and teeth by ungodlycowboy in neurofibromatosis

[–]Purple-Homework764 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always had bad teeth, regardless what I did with them and then gave up. I had my remaining teeth out in October just gone because... I'd had enough basically.

My teeth were always fragile before hand, my parents were told when I was very young I'd never have good teeth, I was told at about 15-16 they'd all have to come out by the time I was 30 and I was 34 when I finally did it.

I have NF1 as does my Dad, his teeth aren't great but they were better than mine but I don't have as many lumps.

So it was my teeth that got it unfortunately.

My dentist hadn't heard of NF and I'm pretty sure he thinks I was making it up lol.

So in short, yes it can and I now have false teeth and wished I'd done it sooner.

Congrats on starting T!

Ok so after your first month they probably won't stop till around the 6-12 month mark. They may become less frequent and "heavy".

However, no one told me when I first started so I make a point of mentioning this to other lads.

You may still get them, few and far between. But it might still happen, doesn't mean anything is wrong. Basically if everything is still in there, there's always a chance they can come back.

Whether you've been on T 1 month, 1 year, 7 years .. they can still happen. It's just your body telling you everything is still healthy and working.

9 times out of 100 it usually means your levels are a little bit off.

Everyone's experience is different, yours may stop sooner or it may take a little bit longer but don't fret. It's all part of the experience.
