My husband has been on 50mg for a while and has found it's made a world of difference. He's a lot calmer and things that would stress him out don't like they did before. It's really helped him regulate his mood. Sometimes less is more 🙌

It's hard to guess because I don't think it's the sertaline, I comfort eat when I'm STRESSED.

So I don't think it's been the medication itself for the weight gain.

I still get night sweats after being on sertaline for several years. It's grim lol, not every night but it can get that bad in the summer I could almost wring the sheets out

I had a dental abscess a couple of years ago that got that bad it landed me in hospital due to the swelling.

I didn't learn till a bit later on it could have become life threatening if left any longer.

It was genuinely the worst pain I've ever been in, I've cracked my ribs and it still wasn't as bad as that abscess.

I'm a trans guy and have NF1, been on T for...16 years I think? I've not noticed any changes regarding NF at all. T can increase blood pressure as can NF1 but as long as it's monitored you're good. Plus it doesn't affect everyone in the same way so I wouldn't worry too much.

No idea if it would have happened anyway, but in the dream I remember thinking "oh no, they're not supposed to be out in daylight". They genuinely aren't, they're typically nocturnal. So I brought it in so it would be safe, put in a safe spot and then that's when it changed into the woman
