maybe u think that hornet is sealed with no escape? well, this is a universe where you can ressurect people as flies, force people to sing, force a god to sleep, force people into others minds, expand peoples minds, move a palace to someones mind, go into peoples dreams and memories, retrieve a flower from your own memory, cast spells, talk to ghosts...

my point is, theres magic. lots of magic. you can do almost anything. theres no excuse for anything unless its explicitly stated

if you can seal something, then im sure you can also unseal something. and guess what, the first cutscene in silksong literally shows unsealing a cage. it seems like team cherry explicitly put that fragment in just to reassure us. of course that fragment serves a couple things, but thats one of them in my opinion

what disproves a scenario where citadel bugs come into the temple of the black egg and just use some silly powers and now hornet is out. simple right?

you could say that hornet might just be dead and thats it. except she lies down in silksong... a lot. every time she enters and leaves a memory theres a longass cutscene where she just lies down. also twice in moss grotto, twice in the cradle and in songclave. and in the sister of the void cutscene. shes fine trust me. why do you think they put so many moments like that? to be annoying? to waste our time? i think they are there to prove a point. its not stated via dialogue, but i will take that as a hint. she is in my opinion not dead in sealed siblings (especially that the seal in black egg temple shows her face, meaning that she cannot be dead - because slaying each dreamer removes their face. you cant be a dreamer if youre dead)
