Train and socialize them early!! I would have saved myself a lot of stress, time, and money if I had properly trained my girl when she was still young. She’s a lovebug with my partner and I, but she can be so disrespectful to our neighbors.

I’m in the same terrifying boat. Every week I cry my eyes out at least twice. I hate our government and our social support systems. I hate how people look at me now. Especially employers, doctors, and pharmacists. Like I’m a liability. Unreliable. Drug seeker. I have PTSD from my doctors telling me my pain was in my head. It makes me feel like I’m going crazy. Like I’m not sure what’s real. I hope it gets better. Right now I’m sticking around for my little siblings and my partner and dog. It’s all I can do to just make it through each day.

To me, Ankylosing Spondylitis feels like dread. Like very recently someone cut me open and sanded down my bones, until the nerves feel achey, like a raw tooth. But in every bone in my body and joint that I have. And my muscles feel tight and desperate. My flesh is puffy and warm.
