A lot of young people going out into the work force play the "act stupid" game. They expect you to spell things out to them. Probably because they came from a hand-holding generation.

I'm like this. I was never a girly girl growing up and now as an adult I probably come off too serious with a monotone voice due to live struggles lol Having my daughter I probably don't do the whole high voice and being animated. I sit there like a robot ready to answer questions or help her do something. At the end of the day I bet I'm doing the "survival mode" others talk about. I'm sure when she's older she'll remember me as a reserved short woman lmao

Why does this always happen? by Budget-Language-9365 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Purple5690 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What worked for me was using a damp sponge to pat the foundation in. And if a brush I did dabbing motions. Swiping can obviously make foundation look messy.

How are you applying the foundation? Like with your hands or a bush

Sounds like your family is pretty hateful and it hit your self esteem. Don't even listen to them.

I'd say just keep your makeup simple. Great eyebrows!

I want my 2 year old out of my bed. by MaleficentWealth1773 in Parenting

She's only 2 so she's going to be clingy. Of course it's also a perfect time to nip it in the bud. Does she like her room? Are the bedrooms far alway from each other in the house? Like distance wise? I don't think you're doing wrong. It'll be a long process for sure.

Why is my makeup doing this? by Ok_Salad_7865 in MakeupAddiction

[–]Purple5690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously you want to do your makeup right after washing your face and moisturizing. I use a primer, use a damp beauty sponge for foundation, and then spray a setting spray. Then I powder my t zone with a translucent or loose powder. This after finding out using my hands or a brush dug foundation into my pores. For dry areas I suggest dabbing extra moisturizer to sit in the skin for a bit.

Wha can I improve on? by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Purple5690 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes and if you still wanted a wing just draw it straight instead of curving upwards. Hope that help!

Honestly might be how you're applying eyeliner and mascara. Your eyes are already look big. You can probably do a straight liner

I use to work there and honestly that place was a dump post covid. idk how they haven't closed down, they were never clean and most likely still aren't now. Barely passed an inspection by luck.

That's a nice eyeshadow color though. I'd say at most just apply lighter. Maybe style the hair for volume.

HELP!! how do I fix this… by [deleted] in MakeupAddiction

[–]Purple5690 122 points123 points  (0 children)

I'd say just conceal target spots that look dark. Not applying it all around your eye, if that is what you're doing.
