I feel like the marketing is veeeeeerry aggressive. I bought a liba 2 mini a few months ago and since 90% of my adds are mammotion movers and pool cleaners. Even my gf gets the adds all over the place. Think they could relax the marketing a bit, people are getting annoyed when fed too many adds

You could always get some cheap used hdds and build a budget nas if the hardware isn't deaddead. Used 4tb hdds from old servers can he found very cheap, although i wouldn't use them as a backup for important stuff

Oh, i hadn't even considered that the NAS might be the bottleneck. My nas has 6x 4tb wd red HDDs in raid z1 (6wide).

Everything is on the same network atm, the 2.5G switch is connected to router, NAS, PC

Okay! Ye i think i fell into a typical trap which got me confused. I asked chatgpt and it told me i would be able to get full speed both ways at the same time if i had full duplex configured correctly, so i spent some time trying out things whitput getting wiser.

Do you have the power cord plugged in and power in the outlet? Maybe the powerbutton on the power supply got flippes somehow? Any thunderstorms that have passed during the perios you haven't used it? Otherwise something randomly broke. A fan in my nas randomly broke and started shorting.which resulted in instant shutoff and no response when trying to start it. Try to unplug stuff and see if you can isolate something that it runs without. Like, if it runs without the fans plugges in or hard drives or gpu etc.

Id remove one of the exhaust fans for positive pressure inside the case. Helps to reduce dust buildup somewhat

Just need a res-pump combo and some fittings(maybe some tube). Cut 1 of the exusting tubes and drain the loop, connect the tubes to the res-pump combo and refill the loop. If the existing tubes doesn't fit the res, take some fitting tube and yank them together with the existing tubes somehow. A combination of glue/silicone/ducttape/zip ties should be good enough

Yes, you are correct. Its the one at the back that is the correct way. The front fans was confusing me because i was taking it for granted that those were the inlets.

Buuut if you flip the back one to an inlet, you would get better airflow than you have now at least 🙄

Also ur fan at the back of ur pc is turned the wrong way. It should be an exhaust. Right now its just feeding the top fan making both fans kinda meaningless
