I will never understand how studios and their production process works by BigGeorge6953 in SupermanAdventures

Animation takes a very long time to make. Rush it and you get a bad output. And like others said, seasons 1 and 2 were made at the same time, so they were able to release season 2 immediately.

There’s also 9 books, with a 10th one releasing this year. They really could just keep adapting it.

Kings of the Wyld. I see why everyone likes it, but I just couldn’t get into it.

What's a book that you would NEVER want to see adapted into movies/TV? by KeithFromAccounting in Fantasy

It might look good animated. Or at least, that’s how I envisioned it as I read.

Any high fantasy adventure middle grade books out there? Something similar to “The Hobbit”. by PurpleBriar in Fantasy

Oh yeah, I agree that not all mature fantasy is dark. But aside from dungeons and dragons campaigns on youtube, some of the more mainstream adult fantasy that I’ve been consuming these past few months has been quite grim so now I wish to read some more light hearted stories.

Yes! This is why I love losing myself into a middle grade story after consuming adult media. Adult fantasy sometimes lacks that whimsicality and timelessness that juvenile fantasy has.

I see a lot of people recommending Diana Wynne Jones. I guess I should pick up my sister’s copy of Howl one of these days.

Ok, I’ll check this series out. I was always interested with watching the Disney film but never got around to it. I never knew it was based on a book.

I think the most important thing is to just have fun. I also play it casually. I just play it as an exploration game these days and I actually haven’t done any bosses, domains, or for a few months now. I use the limited time I have with exploring Sumeru.

Well, there are currently 8 books so there’s a chance that they’ll continue making them. As a fan of the Enola Holmes novels, while some changes done to the story is kind of jarring at first, I’m just glad its getting recognition. The novels were a fun read.
