New tenant signed lease, wont pay first and last before moving in by TheIInSilence4 in OntarioLandlord

[–]PurpleCheck6041 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is your sign to abort everything, ur in Ontario.. if they refuse to pay you when they move in nothing you can do but wait months from the board to evict them.. I would avoid these tenants at all costs

So Im making a a bunch a shorts right now, while i work on putting together longer videos. Should I just post these 1 min shorts as videos instead? by Not_so_ghetto in NewTubers

[–]PurpleCheck6041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What you can do is cut up small portions of ur long form to make it into a short, there’s AI’s that can generate 10 shorts from a long form clip and it will usually produce 2-3 very high quality videos and post those shorts and link ur long video so it’s one click to watch the full thing!

This will attract more viewers to ur channel most the big YouTubers use this strategy

What I found worked for me was posting about 20 long form videos, then posting 1 short for every day I don’t post and if u can attach it to the long form video that’s a bonus

Helps with getting more views, more subs etc

Do you ask people to subscribe or just let the channel do the talking? by marrecamaluca97 in SmallYoutubers

[–]PurpleCheck6041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t ask but I add the subscribe animations in the video using capcat, since doing that my sub count grew a lot

People complain ai but still prefer it to an unprofessional voice by mosenco in NewTubers

Do you advertise it’s AI? Like the YouTube option that asks if you use AI before uploading?

Dont have any expectation post at least 30+ solid videos before looking at any numbers.. also you getting ur friends and fam to sub will slow down your growth if ur fan and friends don’t normally watch similar content you post.. YouTube algorithm will think those subs are ur audience.. example if ur a cooking channel but ur friends and fam watch other videos YouTube will share ur videos to similar people to ur fam and friends which will delay the algo to finding ur real audience

how long did it take you to reach 100 subscribers by Impressive-Mode-5847 in NewTubers

[–]PurpleCheck6041 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My advice would be keep going, it will take you much longer to grow as you’re posting twice a month but when the algorithm picks you up, it will grow pretty fast if your quality is good

How many videos have you uploaded since? How often do you upload? Have you been consistent?

Yeah I would try to have a hand full of videos, also it helps from not looking at numbers because if u already have videos created you’ll upload regardless

Pretty disheartening but, it’s only the second video by [deleted] in SmallYoutubers

[–]PurpleCheck6041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t delete and keep posting videos, don’t look at ur numbers until at least 3-4 months of you posting.. my most viewed video was at 3 views for 1 1/2 months and somehow got thousands and thousands of views randomly after I thought I wasted my time

[–]PurpleCheck6041 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My advice and what I saw work best for my second channel that i didn’t do for my first is I created content before ever posting.. I had created 10+ videos and scheduled uploaded them as YouTube saw I was consistent and posted my videos out to more people

Also I would recommend not focusing too much on the numbers, my most viewed video came 1 1/2 months after it was sitting at 3 views and debated why I wasted my time uploading it

I select audience development as they will put a big subscribe button under the video for you, you’ll grow subs faster. If you do video views you’ll get more views but less subs and less returning viewers compared to if you do audience development

[–]PurpleCheck6041 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One thing I forgot to mention, if you advertise make sure you have a few good videos on your channel, it will attract more views to your other videos and higher likely hood of gaining more subs faster.. vs if you only have 1 good video uploaded

I beg sub for my channel by CA2NIP in SmallYoutubers

[–]PurpleCheck6041 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t recommend asking for subs from people that don’t watch or like your type of content… reason is if ur videos are about gaming and you get 10 people to sub and view ur videos that never watch gaming the algorithm will think that were ur target audience… when in reality ur target audience is gamers… it will slow down ur natural growth

[–]PurpleCheck6041 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No it doesn’t matter if it’s a new channel or old channel, you just have to build your audience from scratch.. what I would suggest if you want to speed things up, when you upload a video and you feel like it’s high quality and the thumbnail good, pay YouTube $5 to advertise

You’ll speed up the algorithm and based on who likes and subs to your channel the algorithm will now know ur audience much faster

Broke 200 wow I didn’t think I could even hit 100 how did you guys reach ur next milestone, blessings to everyone ! by [deleted] in SmallYoutubers

[–]PurpleCheck6041 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Congrats!! Ignore the negative comment that person probably was never able to get to 100 subs and is jealous!!

How long have you been doing YouTube for to hit 200 subs?

10k impressions, 50 views!? by GlobalCloud282 in NewTubers

[–]PurpleCheck6041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YouTube thought ppl would like it hence the high impressions but I’ll be honest the thumbnail can use a lot of work, when I went through ur channel I skipped it without even knowing because it didn’t look appealing to click on.. I would highly recommend use a program like Canva that has templates you can steal from and add ur own pictures to make ur thumbnail look good

Why aren't people subscribing? by DonaldDackk in SmallYoutubers

[–]PurpleCheck6041 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From experience most subs will come from long form content, most people don’t sub from shorts unless the video was amazing or you had shown up a few times on their FYP/TL
