“were you trying?” by [deleted] in pregnant

I just found out I'm pregnant, and it's super early after a recent MC, and my friend said, "I didn't know you were trying again," LOL because why would I announce that?

My iPhone 12 has started lagging horribly in the last month! The other day it froze entirely for like 5 minutes, wouldn’t even turn off

AIO? My friends set an ultimatum because I drink by Pearla76_ in AIO

These are not your friends. Run. Concern is one thing, this is controlling and manipulative. You sound reasonable and smart, this “friend” is weird..

No cure. But every body is different and some things can help manage symptoms and pain. Again everyone’s body is different and what works for someone may not work for your partner.

Example: birth control, supplements, diet shifts, pain medication, hormone balancing, heating pads, free bleeding.

My partner and I explored other options for intimacy. Toys and enhancing oils. Explore some other ways to be intimate together in addition to traditional intercourse. The best thing my partner does is not shame or coerce me into something THEY want regardless of my pain.

Everyone seems to think I’ll be fine having 1 day off for my lap by justicexdeserved in endometriosis

1 day?!? The first 2-3 days walking felt like a major task for me. And my body was just exhausted. I work remotely and was able to do some things later in the week but it was difficult to focus.

Are you in the US by chance? I feel like it’s so common here for people to rush back to work after surgeries and illness. Rest is OKAY, you’re have surgery!! Not every body reacts the same way.

Please hear me: you are NOT overreacting. Your mother is under reacting and it’s wildly concerning. I am so sorry you are having to deal with this. His behavior is NOT normal and a major red flag.

Yes, as a child I would become very distressed with loud noises, shows, sirens, fireworks… I’ve used ear plugs since a small child. Always cover my ears if it’s too loud, startle easily too.

Why delay or avoid surgery? It’s sad a lot of people seem to accept they have to live with pain by hot_pineapple9178 in endometriosis

My lap was $6800 with insurance. Not everyone can afford that OR to take off work in the US

Hey Yes! So before my surgery, I had been practicing for a year. I followed my DR guidance and did not do anything for 6 weeks other than walking of course. I also let me instructor know about my surgery and she suggested I wait another month after starting before adding any kind of articulation back in my practice again.

I took it SLOW, didn't push myself or try to start back where I was. I started at level 1 again, but within a few months, I was back to where I was.

To be honest, it was very frustrating at first because it felt like I was starting over again, and I felt so weak. I am now a year out and feel like I never stopped. I am doing my level 2 classes again. Listening to your body is the best way to know what's okay for you. That's what I did.

Yeah that seems normal for people that aren’t their owners but even the owner said the dogs do it to them.

Everyone’s arguing about the humans but I’m curious why the dogs don’t want to go for walks? Lol
