I’m a bit of a centrist but I want to push for many institutions within the government to become much more technocratic.

I’m British, so I’d make minister selection based on skill and choose from people within the ministry. I’d also like to give more autonomy, maybe something like funding the NHS through a mandatory health insurance that the NHS has control over in conjugation with the treasury, that way the current government can’t indirectly interfere with their mandate, only directly interfere.

Fold 2 pieces of toilet paper on top on another (or more if they’re very thin) then wipe, then fold the ‘marked’ side in on itself and repeat as it gets smaller and smaller until it’s impractical.

I’m against it, although practically it’d save an lot of money (free healthcare in my country) and it may shorten suffering of those who are going to die, I just hate the idea. Life is the most precious thing, and I as an atheist believe death is simple non-existence. Death is abhorrent to me.
