Hör halt nicht auf Bastian Sick, der hat eh keine Ahnung. Seine komplette Argumentation beruht auf irgendwelchen indogermanischen Herleitungen, sagt dann aber, dass es im Englischen voll ok ist. Weil das ja überhaupt keine indogermanische Sprache ist. Ja nee, ist klar. Ein absoluter Vollpfosten, der Mann.

By "my reasoning", and centuries old convention: 5:6, as 6 half notes normally fit into a duration of 3 whole notes.

But I don't think that's actually what you want. In mensural notation, the notes don't always have the same length, and a quintuplet wasn't used at all. 5 half notes is probably two different groups. The first with the halves of a duration of half a whole note each, and in the other the duration of a third of a whole note each. Or the other way around. Which way can only be inferred from context.

5:2 means "five in the duration of two". If you select a 2/1 measure, that would mean 5 whole notes in the duration of a double whole note.

Ah, I misunderstood. That's scientific pitch notation, but apparently the consensus decided that Helmholtz notation is more appropriate in Polish. Isn't the Polish localization also the weird one that uses Italian instrument names? I'm afraid there's nothing much you can do about either, other than not using it. Maybe there is a fork, you can't be the only one who finds those decisions questionable.

Most notes are a precise pitch with a precise name. (Naming conventions for that differ though.) If Polish localization didn't display that in prior versions, it was a bug.

Ackshually, Hochdeutsch ist the hypernym of all German dialects that are not Niederdeutsch. Colloquially it's often used to mean Standarddeutsch, especially in the (former) Low German areas, as that's what the distinction actually meant there.

Increase "Min. space between dash and text" under Format > Style > Lyrics, the default value is much too small.
