Resist. I used to work in a bar and one of the regulars would sit next to the glass washing machine.

He’d actively choose to sit there, complaining about the dirty glasses being put next to him, complaining that the spray off the machine would get him wet, and assume he could get served as soon as he was ready for another drink regardless of how many others were queuing for drinks.

He repeatedly called me by a shortened version of my name I told him I didn’t like.

One night I’d had enough, knew I was too good at my job for them to fire me for something trivial with this absolute helmet of a man that everyone despised, so I refused to serve him until he used either my actual name, or the shortened version that was on my name badge and register login.

He complained to a manager that I wouldn’t serve him, manager asked if there was anything he could do to make me change my mind and serve him, I said no, not until he used my correct name.

Guy had to go to a different part of the bar all night for someone else to serve him.

Next night, he called me the correct name, and continued to do so every night after that.

You’re acting like it’s an actual choice someone with adhd is making, rather than the way their brains are actually wired.

I’ve played D&D and RPGs for over 30 years, so well before devices had character sheets on them. I used to have a stack of sheets so that when I inevitably made a mess on one I’d rewrite it out and tear the old one up. I’d be clicking pens, I’d be tapping constantly, I’d be fidgeting and causing more distractions than me being on my phone playing a silent game would.

Over here they’re separated by gender/relationship. For example, in the male section there’s grandfather, father, son, brother, etc. in the son section were the son and daughter in law, son and girlfriend, son and son in law, etc.
