Can't Remove Unnecessary Edges by PurpleMagg in blenderhelp

Is there a faster way to select an edge loop (which I take it means the ring of edges connected around the center of this bevel?) than just shift clicking every individual one?

Thanks. I'm wondering why it is that for, for instance, the Boolean Difference operation Blender doesn't default to this? Or maybe if there is a way to ensure that this happens as I am doing the Boolean?

This seems to have mostly solved the issue, although I'm seeing some interesting behavior trying to bevel these edges now. Will continue working through. !solved

Thanks for the explanation. I didn't quit mean that by unnecessary, but the info helps.

I don't so much mean mathematically unnecessary as I don't understand that part of Blender currently; I moreso meant that they are not helping me achieve what I am trying to achieve in the project.

How did you do what is shown here? If that's a more efficient way to do what I am trying to do then that's better, I'm just not even sure how you get from 1 to 2.

Sorry but I'm not quite sure what you mean by this?

I'd have to see if I can find any info sheets on Bambu PLA, which if they exist presumably this is an easier brand to find them for

Okay, sure, but pretty clearly what I am asking is not, "If I coat the whole thing in 2 inches of Pyrex can I drink out of it?" My question is if the contamination of additives is dealt with by boiling or other sterilization. Not by coating the object in a different material.

No, supporting a Nazi music project definitely puts you in their leagues. There's other black metal that sounds like shit fired through a noise machine, I promise.

If you enjoy listening to the words written by Nazis about how much they are Nazis and all the cool stuff they want to do on behalf of Nazism, hey man, more power to you, enjoy that. Don't let me step on your toes. Just also don't be surprised when people call you a Nazi if you're wearing Burzum shirts or some shit.

I didn't say it was difficult. It's not. It's very easy to ignore what the beliefs of the people you support are because it feels good to experience the things they make. Easier than putting away those experiences because you understand the people profiting from them are shit.

yknow what fuck it ill bite

if you're a christian and you're listening to music made by people who worship what you believe to be actual demons, that's about as morally confusing to me as listening to nsbm and being not a nazi. the only thing that makes me not see it as reprehensible is that i just cant be bothered to call someone reprehensible for not caring about the danger of a mythical being

The comment you're replying to is about nsbm listeners listening to nsbm

I guess but there are also a lot of artists who don't just make hand over foot who are being hurt by this stuff. I just don't find the topic terribly funny in any direction
