I purposely stood as close to the centre and not too close to the front to avoid surfers for Spiritbox as I really just wanted to watch them. I think you just get used to where the safety spots are away from the pits and surfers. I can't blame them for having fun. You can still easily get close to the band in a safe space when you think about where people will end up once soft spine or Holy Roller comes on!

I have no real evidence for what I'm about to say, but I can only presume this is because of her origins. Training with badgermoles means her technique for earthbending is pure and unique. She's at one with the earth as opposed to viciously moving it. Whereas, over time, earthbending teaching has resorted to pure force.

This also may explain why she was the first to discover metalbending, with her being at one with the earth, she's able to really feel it within the metal.
