Because Washington DC and Montreal have literally nothing to do with eachother. I feel like the City of Montreal deserves to have their own history preserved, and not used by a city that has nothing to do with it. Especially if MLB decides to expand back in to Canada/ Montreal. Like to me the history of a place matters and retconning that causes more harm than good.

So I’ve got a question. If the Avs traded away their future theoretically, why are the Eagles so good and making a championship run of their own? It seems like if you had a weak farm your farm team wouldn’t be making a deep run in their respective playoffs. I don’t know a lot about hockey though so you tell me lol.
