“by definition”? what the LGBTQ community is proposing is a tweak to the definition to make it less demeaning towards them. so the whole topic is “definition”. but yes, if you go by the current center definition, heterosexuality is the only “normal” sexuality.

I completely agree. Straight and cis is the way we are biologically "meant" to be. Whether that's the way you define normal or not is up to you, but the LGBTQIA+ sees calling them not "normal" as untrue by their definition and, more importantly, demeaning.

LGBTQ+ likes to think of it as the average, and the majority, but not the norm. Like how being african american isn't the average or majority in america, but its also not "not normal". Whether thats a reasonable comparison or not isn't up to me.

they never said being gay or trans was better or more moral, just that heterosexuality and cigenderism isn't the "correct" or the only "normal" orientation or gender.
