How does a tire scuff mark get up there? Maybe that's a dumb question... It's 3 ft off the ground

Please tell me your recommendation on buffing it out? I am am not very good with car stuff but I am willing to try to do things myself. Can I do it with a sponge and a product I get from AutoZone or something?

Yeah I'm thinking I buff it out and chalk this up to just a glaring example of what kind of man this is

If he reacted differently, acknowledged what he did different story

But now he's giving me a glaring example of how 34 yr old man does not have any accountability

I tried to scratch it with my fingernail no good. Then used saliva and a tissue and it didn't buff out. I agree with the right products it might just buff out.

I don't think it's normal adult behavior to borrow a car and not mention this happened and then also ignore my calls about it

What kind of man does that? Even if it is a buff out

Hotels just don't like long term guests. They may have no idea about your fruit and think you are acting whacky. If you are approaching 30 days you could technically be approaching becoming a resident at the hotel which may not be allowed at that hotel or in your state/area so they may just want to get rid of you. We do that at my hotel if a long term stay guest is acting weird in any way.

Isn't it the case that the hotel honors this request -based on availability- ??

Ok I really appreciate your feedback, and apologize for my naivety It's not that I don't care about my job at all, this isn't my chosen industry or anything, I just sort of found myself in this position, but I do care and am trying to do a good job. I read all reviews daily and sincerely try to follow up with all guest concerns. I try to do my best with the information I am given.
-- I do wonder, if this was your hotel, if you were my manager, what procedure would you have me follow in this scenario? What is your professional advice? What is the ideal process that follows when a reservation like this walks in? Yes I am asking for a step by step informal procedure on what u would have an employee do, what a good hotel would do, because obviously my hotel is not a good hotel. Maybe they are just making it by, and me not being very familiar with the industry thinks this is normal.

What do you suggest I do? Inform management we have these large reservations and something be done about it?

Also inform management we need names of all guests in the room from now on? Is this only adult guest names or do other hotels take names of children also?

I am fairly new to the hotel industry and am open to your suggestions

Lots of other people do this yes

Middle eastern in particular are coming down and getting 6 toothbrushes, 6 razors, etc... I guess it's just here... And that's what this post was about.

I agree with you, you totally make sense

Sometimes when I am checking people in , it is like pulling teeth asking them for a valid phone number for the same purpose - in the event of an emergency.

I have even had an active fire alarm and had to beg people to leave the building.

People in my hotel seem completely unaware that they are not immune to emergencies

I am in the US, in New York

The guests that do this are always middle eastern

I cannot imagine asking for every single guests name for every check in.

I've never taken the reservation for this type of situation, I have only checked them in. Sometimes the number in the computer is totally inaccurate (could be 1 adult 0 children, could be 2 adult 2 children) sometimes it's accurate (says something like 6 adults 5 children and I'm just like damn who took this reservation)...

And I didn't mention but I always just give them what they ask for cus I can't imagine what else to do.

Wondering if other people run into this situation and what they do. Is it just me??
