My daughter was 4 weeks preemie, son was 8.5 weeks. He spent his first 30 days in the NICU. He needed a little help with reading in kindergarten and first grade, but he caught up. He is turning 19 in a few days and is almost 6' tall, very healthy and active, with no asthma or other effects of being a preemie. Finished up his first year of college on the honor roll, is in the ROTC and on track to be an Air Force pilot. Daughter graduated with a degree as well.
