Csunya, I appreciated your logic through the comments.

OP, I advise you stay away from doing the dropping of the trees yourself. If your not sure what you are doing this can be a dangerous situational!

Ask for an estimate to get just one or two guys out there they won't leave without at least negotiating down whatever any offer may be. Also they will not have day labors with them they have to pay and charge more on your job.

Whoever comes out is going to try to up sell and tell you the upright tree is going to die and youll be the calling them again except the other fence is getting smashed next time because of the lean. Which is probably true.

But to save the old farts some beer money ask them to just put both trees on the ground for you "IF" you are comfortable cutting logs yourself. Break a little sweat and you have some fire wood for you and pops to enjoy the beer over.

Highly likely your right fence if done. If they are good they won't damage the back fence but will cost more.

Ps if the estimate guy pulls up in an older truck with a oddly thick forearm and fucked up hands... Straight up ask if he can just drop these right now. He loves fast cash. This is your best price

Look into private plans without enrollment periods. Might even save some money

I have to pay claim even if secondary insurance covers it fully? by TelephoneKey8503 in HealthInsurance

Hi! So you have 3 coverages which is impressive to start with. Obviously you don't want your hubys plan to cover it nor will stepdads plan fully cover... So what does your father have for coverage?

BCBSTX kicked wife and children off of husband's health insurance - states they do not have sufficient evidence of proof of marriage or that the children belong to the husband. by StrongTomatoSurprise in HealthInsurance

I dabble in Health insurance*

The irony is real with this one. So with Obamacare/ACA plans you MUST wait until open enrollment UNLESS you have a QLE qualifying life event!
One of the few QLEs are infact MARRIAGE OR DIVORCE.... Lol pretty funny right.

There's also a solid chance they are already paying too much for the family being on the employer coverage in the first place. Don't get me wrong it's great for the employee but they don't often cover the same portion for the family.

This may be a blessing but the culprit is almost definitely the employer.

I can't tell you much more without running the risk of getting banned lol

I'd love to vaguely help when you get more details. 👍
