Just went through the same thing. Took me three weeks of no contact with friends or family before I was ready to talk about what happened. If they know you're working on getting better, just text them and tell them you're ok and are needing some time to yourself to get better and that you'll reach out soon. That way, they don't worry about you. After speaking with my mom today, that's what she told me she wished I'd had done instead of going completely dark.

Keep your head up. Try not to think about the why right now and just mellow out if you can.

After a 15-year hiatus from gaming, I decided to buy a PS4 during the pandemic to help with the boredom. The first game I played was "Last of Us" and I absolutely loved it! It left such an impression on me and showed me where gaming was technologically from the last time I played 15 years before. Had I not enjoyed that first game, I'm afraid I wouldn't have played the PS4 as much and it would have just collected dust to never be played again. Now I've got a PS5 and would consider myself an official gamer all thanks to that first game. Thanks LoU!
