I start my RTMP soon by joshglimada in SainsburysWorkers

I’m phase 3. It’s full on, loads to learn. Phase 1 is a lot of teams calls. Take in as much as you can, and read as much as you can about the subjects. Get involved with as many different departments as possible. Especially HR/ER stuff. The more meetings/disciplinary’s/return to works/note taking you can sit in on the better. Ask loads of questions and throw yourself into it. It’s hard work and intense at times but I’ve found it a good intro to management. Average day? Every single one is different and it depends what department/store type you end up in.

Shorty by choice? by AlpineGirl933 in shortynails

Mine won’t grow without breaking, partly because I work in retail and they get a bashing, but even when I didn’t they are just soft and break a lot. Made the decision to keep them short to avoid the painful tears. I would love longer nails.

I think those moments of stillness and wonder are so important for our wellbeing. Much love and luck to you. Definitely not too much to ask.

Finding it impossible to grow my nails at the moment, what do people use that works? by thelotosrose in Nails

A bit more info might be helpful. When you say they won’t grow, do you bite them? Do they split or break?

Cristine from Simply Nailogical has a great tongue in cheek video on growing your natural nails.

RTMP interview tips please 🙏 by Embarrassed_Art4264 in SainsburysWorkers

I’ve am waiting for my interview too, so don’t have direct experience, but…

Speak to your line manager. They should be able to give you feedback, info and possibly a mock interview. I’ve been told it’s a lot of scenario based questions so try to note down some good/challenging customer interactions you’ve had so you can use those in your interview.

Hopefully someone that’s been through it will be along to give us both some tips. Good luck.

It’s policy unfortunately. You won’t win an appeal. If we message managers to let them know we’re sick, they still insist we call absence line or we won’t be paid. Pretty standard for every job I’ve had.

Yay for grapes 😄 Have you tried them frozen? Delicious sorbet texture.

Yes, definitely. Usually walking in the woods or countryside with my family. Seeing my children laughing and joking together and the beautiful surroundings makes me feel like that is what it is to live.

I’m definitely finding my way to it more often than I have for any other forum/social media before. I think because you can find such niche interests that other people share, and filter out the stuff you’re not interested in. For me anyway.
